| Hallelujah! Thank you to those that helped me work out my posting issues. Again, I apologize for bothering you and/or sounding like a complete moron, however I'm over it now and I have you's to thank... Moving on (lmaoooo!!)... So, I'm a new yorkie mom. He's one years old, (last week) and he's almost 3 pounds. His name is Boo. My young friend (24 yrs) couldn't any longer take care of him due to her pressing work/school/boyfriend schedule...so the best home was me (if I do say so myself...lol and luckily so did she) and he's now not in the way and feeling like a burden as he was, sadly...he's got a wonderful home with a shih tsu mix (16 pds) of tender and serene preciousness. She's my little girl. They're adorable and playful together and he's learning the ropes in this house with her calm balanced help. I was looking for the right breeder for the last few years...wanted to add another little "energy" to our home, but was not sure of which breed. He was meant to be in our family (I believe that) cus I had a few opportunities 3 seperate times to take a tiny breed pup and said no for one reason or another... My family feels that he was meant for us. He needed a family that had time for him and we needed another little baby to add more of what more is....to our home. We were at the tail end of living within a pack of 5 dogs...over the last 15 years and our shih tsu mix is "the last one standing", so to speak. She needed canine energy back into the house to make her whole...as did we. Boo is a vivacious and energetic boy and he's welcome whole heartedly into our fold. I will DEFINATELY need advice from all you good people as I have never had a terrier in my life, (had a pomeranian, gsd, flat coated retrievers. miniature long haired dashes, and the shih tsu mix in my doggy career), but nooooooooo terriers...so advice is a gift you all can give me for Christmas... Thanks all. xoxoxo Merry Christmas <3 |

| Hello and welcome. It is amazing how many people will buy these cute little babies and then find that they do actually need loving attention and training! I'm glad your little guy seems to be adjusting well. I have had dogs all my life but Gracie is my first terrier and I have to say that there is a huge difference in personality traits. I love it though. That extra something that a terrier has is priceless if you know how to mange it. |
