My two beautiful, thoughtful, wonderful friends Melissa (annadoodle) and Judi (Baili's Mom) sent me the most wonderful, nicest thing anyone has ever done for me in my life today! They had my beautiful Rio done in a sketch by Michelle (waistfull) and they even had it framed! I am just at a loss for words here. I have been in tears for the last hour. What a wonderful thing for you guys to do for me. You have touched my heart and I'm just at a loss for words...
She will live on forever in this sketch and I will always cherish it. Always.

Michelle, you captured her so beautifully. Thank you so much!

Melissa and Judi, you have touched my heart and I love you both so very much!

HOW TOUCHING .....Wow - what a great surprise for you - that was just a sweet sweet thing for them to do.....the drawing is just wonderful ...

There are so many great people on this site this doesn't surprise me one bit but it sure touched my heart seeing your little Rio forever etched on paper.

After doing Rio's portrait, she will be in my heart forever. Her beautiful eyes came through so clear to me, and I had hoped to capture them on paper. I will never forget doing this one. It meant so much to me to be a part of this. I had read your post and you have been in my prayers. I will think of you always, and always remember "our beautiful Rio". She's in my heart now, and forever. :rose:

Oh ...you are so sweet. Thank you for being a part of this. I just feel so blessed. And yes, she is "our beautiful Rio", because she never met a person she didnt like; she was a delightful little girl. You've captured her so good, more so than photographs. I don't know how you do it, but from this sketch and the others i've seen, it's like you look right into these little dog's souls. You are amazing. Thank you so much!

I am so glad that they were able to do something so special for you that it makes your heart smile. :) I think the friendships that are formed on Yorkie Talk are wonderful. What a beautiful thing to do! Rio's eyes are so gorgeous ... captured perfectly in the picture! You can read so much in the eyes of these babies! What a treasure! ;)

I just now saw your post...you are so right, there are so many great people on yt. Although I didn't meet Melissa through yt, I did meet Judi here and it's just priceless!

I've met so many great people on this forum. I've had my ups and downs with some, I admit, but I really love the people here in general and all this site has to offer. Thank you all for your sweet words about Rio's portrait. There's tons on new pics coming soon on "the legacy of rio thread".... can't wait to share! We are in the middle of an ice storm here tonight, hoping power will stay on...if not, see you all tomorrow! (have fire place burning as back up heat source for pups...i don't know what else to do otherwise)

It has captured her forever for me, and I'm still just so excited tonight that i got this, I cannot sleep! Our power is flickering on and off, lines are freezing up outside, so i'll see you all when it's better :(

She sure does! I\'m hooked for life now on her sketches...she can really capture the "eyes". What a wonderful talent to have and I\'m still just giddy over my gift today! My darling girl will always live on in my eyes now when I gaze at her sketch. It just seems so much more personable than a photo.
