1/2 cup protein plus egg breakfast and 2 oz fruits Snack vegis Lunch 1/² cup kibble with 1oza vegi Dinner 1/2 cup protein 1/2 cup fruit vegi mix varies per day on the make up. Exceprions winter we go 80% meat and bone plus egg. This is general because one has so many meds I have to adjust food for absortion and one is a fatty on a diet right now. Plus most days they get cottage cheese or yougurt after lunch just a snack.only about an ounce 2.Not now though as we are ising Fromm with cheese in it. |
I feed my pups Science Diet Ideal Balance Grain Free. Belle (6lbs) and Oliver (my 12 lb shih tzu) both get 1/4 cup twice a day. Ziggy (80lb mixed breed) gets 1 cup twice a day. They get frozen green beans and raw baby carrots as treats. Occasionally, I give them a spoonful of cottage cheese or plain Greek yogurt. |
Morgan eats Merrill's grain free. I mix the dry and the canned together. 1/4 cup in the morning and 1/4 cup in the evening |
Bogie gets 3 Tablespoons of California Natural Sweet Potato and Venison twice daily Jada get 2 Tablespoons of the same kibble twice daily For treats they get all the frozen green beans they want and one small LIT Natural balance Sweet Potato and Venison treat bone daily. |
I feed Fromm grain free and mix a little Weruva (love it) in the morning and a little Stella & Chewey's in the evening. |
Katie Scarlett eats Fromm. We switch flavors every bag. We started with Chicken A La Veg, then Salmon Tunalini. We just finished up Pork and Applesauce and are now on Duck and Sweet Potato. She gets 1/4 cup twice per day. Then she also get a couple of treats here and there. She loves fresh celery. She also loves Nilla wafers, but that is a treat she has to earn. LOL. She loves peaches too. |
My place is in chaos for now when it comes to Dog Food ! We were going along just fine, with the food out 24/7. That being Beneful, which my two adult dogs eat in the morning, and Wellness which they eat for their evening meals. But, here comes Ichabod* (my new Male Puppy) which the Breeder told me he fed Cesar. Ok, I got several cups of that in different flavors, and, bought some Wellness Puppy as well. Also got some Goats Milk just to chase things down with. Now, everyone eats everything, and I can't tell who eats what, except that all of them are sitting right there beside me when I eat dinner, hoping for a nice premo tidbit of Steak, Chicken or whatever the main coarse is. Ickey has absolutely NO table manners, but hopefully with a couple more nips on his neck by My Male Sneakers, he'll learn to take his turn. Sneakers knows he's Alpha, and demands (from the Pack) appropriate respect concerning such matters. I admit I've gotten totally lazy when it comes to feeding. Letting them eat what they want and when, is rather convenient, and, actually all of them are "nibblers" rather than "gobblers" so I'm not concerned that anyone is hogging anything, or, being left out for that matter. Well... Except for Cheese treats, then all rules go by the wayside, and that's where the battle starts. ;) * = http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/4044881-post1.html |
