| Does anyone else yorkie hate clothes! Cappy is so funny! I got him an adorable snowflake sweater to wear bc its cold out and hes a pup....and he HATES it! Everytime I get it out he growls and barks and growls and fights me to put it on, the when he has it one, he tries to bite it and is constantly trying to get out of it! Does it just take time for them to get used to wearing them? |

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | LOL ...feisty little guy- I know some don't like clothes ...both mine LOVE them...maybe when he figures out it will make him nice and toasty he'll start understanding it better ? Mine shiver on cold days - when they see me with the sweater - they practically jump in on their own |

| Logan isn't real thrilled about wearing clothes, but he tolerates them. If we're just at home he'll just lay on the floor and pout, but if we go out and about he soon forgets it's on and plays like normal. It's still not easy to get clothes on him, but he doesn't growl or try to bite. He just sticks his little paws in front of his face and makes it practically impossible to get the clothes over his head.

| Mine pretty much hates clothes too. Unless of course I tell him, "Nikko outside!!" I don't take him outside much for fear he might get sick (it is really cold out here now) but he LOVES to go outside. I think now he is starting to associate the coats and sweaters with going outside so he doesn't fight me as much. Of course I give him a zillion treats while I dress him and a zillion more when we get back inside to take the stuff off. Maybe you should try that and see if that calms him down a bit. Those little buggers will do anything for a treat!!

Donating YT 10K Club Member | I don't know that Trace loves his sweaters and coats, but he doesn't fight getting them on or try to take them off. He's a shiverer....think he's learned it's warmer with it on than off. My SIL has a daugsand (sp?) who has a ton of clothes....fights her every time she tries to put any on....then once it's on and Coco goes outside....she manages to come inside with it OFF.

| Wosie is a coat hater I got a wonderful fleece coat for my girl, and she hates it too! She fights like heck to put it on, and then won't MOVE when it's on her!! lolol Kind of defeats the purpose of taking her outside...

| Sophie LOVES wearing her clothes. When i get her dressed in the morning, she prances around as if she is saying, "Look at me!" In fact, she is running around in her four-legged jammies right now. She never tries to wiggle out of anything.

| Gus is ok with his clothing. I started dressing him right away thou. At first he wasnt too crazy about the idea. But he got used to them. The only things he hates are his PJ's! He hates 4 legged clothing of any kind.

| Stewie loves them. He runs to me when I pull out something to wear. He has a huge dresser drawer full of clothes and sometimes I let him stick is head in and grab something he wants to wear. LOL - I am such a nerd. I hold the neck part open and he runs over to stick his head in.

| bunjee was pretty unhappy with his puffy vest and actually pulled it over his head on his own in the first 15 mins of wearing it. then i took him outside without his jacket and put it on him after a couple mins of chilled weather. i don't think he minded it too much after that. still a big NO on sweaters tho. |

| Ditto: Gizmo is not a fan of clothes. But he is getting the idea of when I get his clothes I dress him by the door and tell him," let's go bye-bye..." boy he loves that, or to hear let's go to grandma's ... because that means he has a friend to play with over there(coco- mom's toy poodle).....good luck, it will get better! |
