lol, Maggie is usually the one to chase something while Hot Rod barks and then runs behind me. lol

Mine are always sniffing away outside. We have a lot of wildlife, deer, fox, ducks, hawks, rabbits and squirrels. I should have guessed, Hot Rod used to the do the same with his toys. He's ultimately my little terrier.

Hubby told me to get the dogs on the mouse and I yelled at him, "No Way!". I figured that I would have to be the one to get the mouse from them! lol The thought made me weak in the knees...that they would have this rodent in their little mouths that I get kisses from. Ewwww! lol

My sister has 3 cats because they used to have a mouse problem...not anymore! I toyed with the idea of getting another cat(s)-I like to have pairs so they can have a friend but just not sure that I'm ready to take on 2 more pets. I can say we didn't have mice when we had the cats.

I thought that Maggie May was my little hunter. She goes after bunnies, frogs and birds. Omg, one time I thought she for sure had gotten hold of a bird. Another time, she ran clear across the street into the neighbors back yard chasing a bird. I thought she was going into the pool for sure!

Sounds like you won't have to worry about any problems with critters inside your house. :) Glad that Blazer won hubby over although I'm sure he would have done it even without the hunting experience. They just have a way about them. :)

Well, so far there have been 6 mice that we've gotten in the house. My little fearless mouser has been a bit agitated but not too sure of what is going on. He's been a bit more alert than usual but just doesn't seem to know what's up. Poor Maggie May just happy to be close to mommy. Lol, I've not ventured into the panty since all of this started or into my workroom just in case. I'm waiting for the all clear. Thankfully, there hasn't been any mouse/mice found in there! Whew!

Had to laugh because that is about what I'm ready to do. Hubby told me his travel schedule and I told him that he'd better get this under control because I'm ready to head back to my sisters whenever he's traveling and then some. lol
I honestly feel for ya, their such nasty little critters! :eek: I hope you're free of them soon. :) I forgot to mention I also bought a twin size air mattress and a sleeping bag last year. It stays in the back of my Jeep just in case Yazi and I got to make a quick get away! :D

Oh I was... I made my husband clean it up after he could breath again from laughing and being the ooh so sweet man he is he took a picture of it laying on my $300 feather conforter and loves to surprise me every once in a while by resending it to me :mad:

We live in an apartment and there is a ton of ivy next to our patio. Our cat is at the window every night watching the little rats running around catching the bird seed that has dropped during the day. A week after we adopted Zeus, he started reacting to the rats outside too. I couldn't believe it! He had never barked or anything since we had him (only a week, but still) but it was a huge bonding moment for him and Zeus :D

They're good little guardians! LOL

When I take Sneakers and Becca hunting along the Bayou, they occasionally catch a Mouse or Rat. Believe me, those Rodents are FAST, specially when they have two Pro-Varminteers after them.

They sound just like you crunched a Peanut Shell, when my guys kill them. ;)

(GEES, can I hear the "YUCKS" out there) :D

PS: I'll add that I do not allow them to keep or eat them.
