Good for your DH! Me thinks you need a little more than an hours sleep. Have you been eating...have you seen the doctor??
Been feeling a bit under the weather myself...going to see doc tomorrow...took today off...Think I put my back out again.
I have been wondering what happened to you, as I haven't seen you around...how is my nephew doing?

Yes, I really do need to sleep. I feel exhausted but even though I'm in bed I just can't sleep. It started Sunday with a light headache, I have migraines and am on meds for it so I figured maybe iwas getting one, then started feeling sick to my stomach and unable to eat and from there it's just been a downward spiral. When my body is run down or I have to stay in bed, it makes my back pain worse. I'm on pretty strong pain meds for that, but have been trying not to take them because I haven't been eating. If it's not better tomorrow I will have to call my doctor because I have thyroids disease also so my meds may need adjusting. DH thinks I've been stressing about Sam and it's just catching up to me.I'm sure it will pass soon.

Your nephew is a little character as always lol. He has had a few not so great days himself, but just like mommy he doesn't let it get him down.

I'm sorry that you haven't been feeling well also. What's wrong? Do you know? I will be praying for a speedy recovery for you Sis! Can't have my sissy feeling bad...

Nope I refuse to be sick for my birthday! Got my Bday oufit ready, the public and er not public one lol . Hotel suites booked one for DH and I and one for the kids . He hasn't told me what we will be doing that day yet though. Going to get my pedicure and nails done tomo and my hair done Friday evening! I think I'll be a Diva for the day on Saturday lol....

Wanted to add, how did you hurt your back this time? Are you taking anything for the pain? If you haven't already try a heating pad. If you are laying down put a pillow under your knees and if your laying on your side, put one between your knees. Back pain is so awful and I have wayyyyy to much 1st hand experience with this issue, so I know how miserable it can be. I can't have my sissy in pain so I'm saying an extra special prayer for a speedy recovery..

Maybe I should have Sam pray for you and sing a song for you as well .

Also don't lay in one position for too long. It may hurt but try to move into another position like every 15-20 minutes while you are awake.

*Sigh* Moving furniture out of the back yard..while trying to get Jersey out from under one of the lawnchairs. First incident was 5yrs ago...putting up Christmas lights on the bannister..kitten batting at the shiney lights...so trying to grab the kitten and hold on to the stupid lights...lost my footing, down the stairs I went...lights and kitten saved from harm! Did quite the number on my back....aggravated over time, driving a city bus on bumpy roads. Right now doing a route that has really bad roads, I was streatching up to change the destination sign...felt the pull...ooowwww!!! On a muscle relaxant right now, off to the doc in the morning. Will be off for the rest of the week.. Made worse when I decided to get the lawn furniture inside...too daggon independant is my problem...I don't ask for help, even though I have a man that would do it...whim...Sandy coming, time to get this stuff inside, before I'm chasing cushins all over my backyard. I had visions of the umbrella crashing through my family room window, so I decided to 'TRY' and take the thing down myself....WRONG MOVE!!! Fiance had to come and get me cuz i couldn't move! Oh boy!
Glad my nephew is ok...would love to have him sing a song for me, too cute!

Jacqui, I am absolutely convinced that we must be related lol. I am always getting in trouble about moving things around or lifting stuff. I am not supposed to lift anything over 5lbs . But in my minds eye, it is always easier for me to just go ahead and suck it up and do whatever it is that I need done, than to sit around and wait on someone to come do it for me. It drives DH crazyyyyy . Ughhhh not to mention I had to listen to my spine doctor fuss at me last week for 15 straight minutes about picking Sam up, after me saw the new MRI results .... Sighs I really do try, but it's so hard...
I will have to call you the next time Samuel is in his singing mood ....

Nope didn't make it to the doctor...back wouldn't let me move. Went to get out of bed...my back said no, nope not happening! He's gonna love me...I HAVE to go tomorrow, or I don't get sick pay!
Vet called to remind me I had to take Darth in for follow up on his infected tooth (cat). I have three cats as well...finally made the decision to let go and re-home two of them...yes I have severe allergies...made far worse with the cats. Loaded up three very large cats...yes by myself...two in one crate, one in the other, off to the vet we went. The cats weigh an average of 12lbs each...one purebred Ragdoll, two Ragdoll mixes...they all needed Rabies shots, shelter required them to be up to date on their shots.
Had to call my honey to come get me....boy was he pizzed!!! 'What's wrong wid you woman?' Bc he had told me to wait til he got home so he could help me. Did I listen? Nope!
I simply refuse to wait on anyone, when I'm quite capable of doing it myself!
We ARE sisters gurl!! You just figured that out! I too am not supposed to be lifting anything over 5lbs! Sure that will happen... NOT! So now I sit her with one royally pizzed off fiance, rubbing my back for me with intermittant heating pads...*sigh* I'll get it one day....maybe

I am going to say No that WE won't ever get it lol. I can not stand to wait on anyone to do anything for me! DH called and said he had to work a little late and then pick up our son from football practice and run to the store. I said ok no problem hung up the phone threw on some work clothes, got out the lawnmower and figured Hmmmm I can get the yard cut before he
makes it home, since he obviously won't be able to do it today! Popped a pain pill and began..... Yea you know where this one is going lol mind you I have been ill since Sunday... Back starts throbbing with every step... hmmmm here comes the burn, ok I can do this ( did I mention we have an acre and a half and it's a push mower lol).... So here I am holding my back and pushing the lawnmower... When I hear.... No i CAN'T be hearing right... I look up and ohhhhh crap who's pulling into the yard... OMG the look on his face said it ALL...... I HUMBLY turned away from the mower and limp towards the house with as much pride as my throbbing, burning back allows. DS winks at me says "ooooohhhh" you bustedddddd" cranks up the mower and gives me one more look before he looks at dad and busts out laughing.... I glance up at my DH who I could have sworn had steam rolling off his body.... I went to open my mouth to "explain" and he says "DON'T" is this what you do when you think I'm going to be late? I'm back in the bed now and from all the dirty looks he's been giving me when he brings me juice, dinner etc... I would say I'm grounded for a bit lol..... Now I'm aching so bad I'm terrified to tell him lol.... But he did mumble something about stubborn, hardheaded and willful when he handed me my pain meds out the bathroom lol... Guess he was going to surprise me by coming home early... Errrr that plan didn't work out so well lol....

LOL! I'm sorry Tracy, but this made me laugh! We are so alike its uncanny! Between you mowing the lawn..acre and half, and me moving iron lawn furniture, I think we really did a number on ourselves.

Your're right WE wont ever get it...He literally picked me up and carried me upstairs...and said 'STAY'.....I think I made him madder than he already was with me for deciding to take the cats to the vet by myself!
