That's unbelievable, I'd be afraid to even let it walk around the house. |
What a cute little Minifuz. We all hope that it grows up healthy. Unfortunately, many of the super small do not. |
OMG! she is SO CUTE!!! but as others have said...I wouldn't want a dog that small...you would have to carry her around all the time so she wouldn't get hurt Mine are 7 1/2, 6 and 4 1/2 lbs and I worry about stepping on them! |

OMG <--- look my letter are bigger than this dog  Waaaaaaaaayyyyyyy to small, just think of it, you would constantly be wondering where he was, did you suck him up in the vacuum, did he go under the bed or couch and cant find his way out and he is so small how would you ever hear him bark?? the stress would be overwhelming. Give me 12 lb Charlie any day LOL |
I too hope for a growth spurt and a healthy life for that wee one!. Does holding a record in Guiness book come with a cash prize? |

Once people win these prizes they often get money for personal appearances, depending on how interesting the category is. I have to wonder how this little dog is being treated since the owner obviously wants to get the record. The little one's body looks too small for the head. Will she feed it properly or keep it on a diet to discourage weight gain? A tiny dog like that is not normal and at a terrible disadvantage. I hope they don't want to breed the poor thing. I doubt very much that it is a fluke. There are people all over the world that are in on the tiny breeding scam. |

It does look small enough to keep in a cage, rather than like a dog, that runs around the house. I've never figured out the fascination with having the tiniest pup/dog. On youtube, you can see vids, were owners seem to be bragging how small their dog is. I don't get it. Bragging how well trained, now that I get, it takes time and skill after all. I have no problem with having a teapot or kettle, once I get my yorkie. lol |
World's Smallest Dog I think this little girl has a long way to go yet. Looking at the size of her head in contrast with her body, she could have several potential medical problems. Hopefully not. Maybe she will just grow some and be normal. I would be very uneasy if she were mine. Everything from hydro to liver shunt can cause them to be born so small. |
https://www.facebook.com/GuinnessWorldRecords I just posted on their facebook page, join me in telling them this is not a good record to encourage people to try to achieve. this is what I posted, Is Guinness pro Animal Cruelty???? if not then please stop rewarding someone for having the smallest dog on record. By offering someone an opportunity to own the tiniest dog on the planet you are encouraging people to breed for this. Because there are serious health complications for tiny dogs, they should not be purposely breed to be freakishly tiny. Females 4 lb and under have difficulty carrying and delivering puppies, often it leads to complications and death. So by offering a world record for smallest dog there are be people recklessly breeding just to get their name your name in your book. If you care about the well being of dogs you should take that category out. |
Done Donna, good idea. |
