baby yorkie | 11-13-2012 12:36 PM | I have two little girls. Ally is just over three pounds is will be four years old at the end of the year. Tia is somewhere between 6.5 and 7 pounds and will be three years old at the beginning of next year. Ally.....not afraid of anything, but loves to bark at anything new you put in front of her. Funny...she loves to attack it. Tia, on the other hand, has become increasingly afraid of everything. I first noticed the fireworks and thunder, then flies inside the house, anything that makes a clicking sound, and last night I was pounding cube steaks. I've had her since she was 10 weeks and she has never been abused. She is a cuddle-bunny. When she panics, she can't sit still, freaks out jumping and running from here to there, shaking, and even running to hide...usually leaving a little surprise along the way....ughhhh! I've tried everything. I recently saw the thundershirt on Bed Bath and Beyond's flyer and decided to give it a try....why not....20% off and I could take it back if it didn't work. I purchased an extra small for Tia. She could use an xxs, but they didn't have one in stock. Well, I tried it last night after she became petrified of me pounding on the steak. It worked....it really worked. At first, I must have gotten it too tight because she just froze and wouldn't move. I readjusted it, and she moved around the house a bit more and was calm. I LOVE it and I hope Tia does too. I would do anything to make her life easier! |
