heartbroken in idaho i know i havent posted in awhile but a lot has happened since the last time i visited. i had my daughter, lost my mackey boy, and after months i finally find a yorkie that i took one look at and fell madly in love. (have u ever had a moment like this?) i seen this female yorkie who just melted into my mind and heart so i ask about her and the lady says 600 so i ask questions to make sure she will be a prefect fit then as soon as she says a place to meet she texts me and says "hubby says we paid 2200 for her so he wants to edit price to 900" now i could afford the 600 but 900 now but they only want a great home for her?" how can that be.i may not have millions of dollars but i would have gave her everything she needs but i guess some people only care for money. broke my heart but i guess i wasnt meant to have her and one day i will find the one that will be perfect for me and my family. thanks for letting me vent just hurts to get your hopes high and let down all at once. :( hope all is well! |
I would text her back and tell her she and hubby need to keep her as they invested so much in her. Upping the price on you like that AFTER you've already been quoted a price is a come-on, bait-and-switch for the petlover who so wants a dog and some fall for it!!! Anyone unscrupulous to try to do that to you is unscrupulous enough to switch dogs when they ship her or when you go to pick her up after you've put down a nice deposit! I wouldn't trust them and would keep looking. I know it is hard but waiting until you find the right, reputable breeder and then the right dog is well worth it. Sorry you ran into a seller like that. |
oh i am so sorry that happened to you .. the right pup will come along .. |
I'm so sorry. That must have been hard for you. If they were nice people they would not have given you a price and let you fall in love and then try and use that to get more money. So sad! |

You dodged a huge bullet here!!! Thank God these greedy people tipped their hand before you got more invested in this pup! You need to find a reputable breeder BEFORE you go looking at precious puppies....when you find your breeder, one that is honest and that you can trust, your puppy will be there!!! |
Congratulations on your new baby:D!!! I'd also be concerned that the dog had an expensive medical problem and that is why they are selling her. Any rehomed dog purchase should be contingent on a clean vet report, including bloodwork and examination of the knees. Keep saving and check with some YTCA breeders in your area for dogs that they may be selling. BIG hugs to you, I'm so sorry that this fell through but you may have just been spared a host of problems. OH and I wanted to say I'm sorry for your loss. I know how hard that is:unlove: |
If they really wanted the best for her they would not try to recup any money. I would walk! |
Congratulations on your new baby. I am so sorry for your loss Quote:

The people re-homing her were just after your money. I'm sorry they did that to you... If you are going to spend that kind of money, I would check out reputable breeders in your area. If you can't afford that much, I would suggest yorkie rescues or your local shelter. Good luck! |
Oh no I'm so sorry that happened to you. I hope you find a puppy soon to help fix your broken heart. Hugs |

I could be wrong here.. but her post says "she had her daughter".. Maybe it's her new skin baby.. I think:) |
thanks everyone. i went to bed upset got on YT n u guyys made me feel so much better! i do hope they find a good home for her but for them to be that way is crazy. she just actually texted me and said her price is a 1000 and she will do payments. -_- first off shes not even a breeder. the yorkie was about 4 years old. she was a doll she had all her shots and so on but still we agreed on a price. and to go up because ur husband said u need to get more because u spent more how fair is that. |
