how many more people are like this? it hurts because i had my heart and mind set on her but now i can see who they really were.

The price she's asking now is the price people pay for decent quality puppies. An older dog does not bring as much as a puppy. What she did was get you to fall in love with the dog and enticed you with a price, then upped the price to $900 in hopes you'd bite, then upped it again to $1000 and offered to let you make payments??? I'd tell her I was stretching it at the $600 and that's all you'd be willing to pay, and if that's not acceptable then she can keep the dog. There are a lot of other dogs out there that would be in that $600 range for a decent quality dog that you can fall in love with. Heck, you might find a good adult dog from a rescue group or shelter that would be considerably less than that even. It all depends on what you want. When the time is right, you will find the perfect puppy or dog.

BTW, congratulations on your new baby!

I would politely tell these obviously greedy people that im not prepared to pay another 300 for this yorkie as you had agreed a price, sending big hugs im sure the right furbaby will come your way soon :hug:

I'm sorry you lost out on this pup. These people don't seem like very nice people. They appear to be out for the almighty dollar. I know you will find another pup you will have the same feeling about. Try to be patient, a beautiful Yorkie will come your way.

Yep. Scammy. Now you get to choose a baby and make your own history with it. Strange a 4 year olx rehome for that much. Im wipling to bet that baby got sick or something. If they loved her then a good home would be the major criteria. Tell them turns out this isnt the right one for me, thank you for savinv me heartache. Buh bye. And not even take her for $600
