Brrrr... 38 degrees this morning in Kentucky!!! Wow..... after making coffee, I went out on the patio to enjoy it! YIKES!! had to go back in and get my winter robe! Once the furkids woke up, I found some heavier t-shirts for them to wear before going out. I LOVE mornings like this!!! All snuggled up and enjoy the cold sunny morning! (now if only we were at the campground smelling bacon cooking over the fire!!! :D ) Hope you enjoy your morning as much as I am!!! :coffee2: |
I love this time of year!! It is 45 here this morning!! :cheer: and the high temp today is 71!!! |
38 degrees?? Already??? I wish it was that cold here. It's 70 Degrees right now, and will most likely get hotter as the day progresses. (thats good ole Georgia for ya ). I guess I should enjoy this weather while its lasting. Glad you're enjoying your morning! |
About the same here this morning too...low in the upper 30's. Feels like it's time to get out the heated mattress pad & down duvet. I'm getting blown insulation put in the exterior walls of my house this week. My DIY projects have shown that there is absolutely no insulation in my walls. I'm hoping it brings down my winter heating bills. |
Up here in Minnesota it is 28 degrees right now. My poor baby she does not want to get out of our bed in the morning so I feed her breakfast in bed. Wished we could live where it is warmer. I put sweaters on my little kid now. Even my parrots hate this cool weather. |
I am from Louisville, Ky and yes it's cold this morning. I put Zoe's jacket on to take her for her morning walk and after going around the block and doing her business she only wanted to go home. We are now sitting on the patio all wrapped up in blankets. I think she is going to hate the cold as much as her momma hates the cold! |
PLEASE, PLEASE send that cool weather here to me. I love mornings like that. |
It sounds pretty good to a person who saw 97 degrees yesterday during my walk with Tibbe!!! As Vicki said - send us some! Please go outside and blow kinda hard and send us just a little of that down Texas way! |
It was 41 here this morning in NE KY, loving it but dread the colder temps to come our way..although they are predicting milder winters for us..I admit I do love our beautiful KY. |
Oh, Tibbe wouldn't wear a jacket or sweater in 38 degree-weather. He just loves the cold weather. Just dashes about in it and seems envigorated. He did suffer me to put a sweater on him for pottybreaks the winter D/FW had the Superbowl and the weather was down to 10 degrees in the early mornings. I can't wait until we here in Texas get our first cold mornings! Course, by Feb., I'll probably be moaning over the weather and tired of the heat running so much. ;) |
Not fair!!! Here in Central TX we are looking at lows of mid 60s and highs of mid 90s for the next 10 days. I am soooooooooo looking forward to the first freeze to kill off some of these mosquitoes. They have been a misery without end this year. |
My lawn is still green and growing front and back. Neighbors in the pool today. I want some autumn breezes and leaves falling NOW! Enough with summer. |
38 degrees?! That is cold. I'll take it. I'm tired of heat and humidity. |
We have been having cooler evenings here in central NY for a while. I love it when it is still warm in the daytime but cools off in the evening. I left a window open last night and Gracie is curled up in a blanket in protest. I put her pajamas away when I was able to turn off the AC and the fans but looks like it's time to get them out again. It's still mostly green here, too. Some leaves are starting to turn and fall off though. All very nice UNTIL we loose the daylight. I can't stand the darkness starting at 5:00pm!:thumbdown |
I love this time of year, but we aren't getting 38 degrees yet! We are sitting inside but have the front door open and are enjoying the cool air :) |
