Davis is pretty bow-legged, both front and back. He looks like a football player or a bull dog when he walks :) |
Cute thread! Most of the time in the house, Razzle (when he walks), his head is up, ears up and pricked and moving one way or another, and is usual pace inside is either a trot or sometimes an all out run:D:D He actually rarely walks....too slow for him. I love and adore his meal time zoomies. He does these laps around the kitchen, through the living room, at least 3 times; and sometimes more times! Then he comes to sit beside the area of the kitchen I feed him in. I guess it takes Mommy too long to prepare their food for the bowl. lol. I add in the supplements, I add some extra water, I mix it all up, etc. They are so smart, even if I go to fridge near to their meal times, they don't react until That time I go to the fridge to get out their food. Somehow they know, maybe I am signalling with my body language it is Doggy time for food;) |
Sugar is a large and in charge BAD ASS . She always appears as serious as the Butler for the Queen  And Curri bounces like Tigger. She is always so happy go lucky and smiles all day long. |
Allie is always on the go she seems to glide when she walks. Willow walks very slow and takes tiny steps. Luci she is a prissy prancer always walks on her tippy toes and when she runs she hops. |
Lexie has a gliding strut as if she's on rails. Those front paws come way up and she's always looking up at me when we walk together. When she runs, she's bouncy like a rocking horse & her tail wags like it's gonna fly off, lol! So cute! |
Katie's walk is like a proud, very confident, happy trot, which probably is mostly due to her "joie de vivre" personality and partly due to her early show training and structure. However, if she suspects I have one of her balls with me, her walk is much more like she is dancing. It's very difficult for her to focus on much else than her ball. Once she has it, she will trot proudly, ball in her mouth, even if we walk for a long distance. She is such a happy, funny little girl. |
I am enjoying everyone's descriptions -- bunnies, show gliders, trotters, prancers and dancers, football players, and Tigger! Shows that movement is so much a part of each dog's personality, and they are so much fun to watch. :) |
Sam walks head and tail up as if he is in the show ring , he bunny hops when he runs its so cute to watch :woof: |
Tink is like a locomotive Sapphire has that 'show glide', very liquidy movement Peek A Boo has a serious walk, once he makes up his mind on where he wants to go. My vet said he reminds her of a centipede. Infinity is a hurricane! She spins around so she can see both in front and behind at the same time, then she ducks and dives and stops on a dime and spins some more...I get dizzy watching her. (Cute thread!) |
Max is always ready to go go go! From time to time, he jumps on my leg for a little scratch and then he is on the go again. Abby acts like it is torture and walks as slow a possible - until she sees a bunny, another dog, or a person and then she is on the move. If it is a quiet day on our journey, she just stops and sits. I pick her up for a about 20 feet for her to get a "Look See" and then she is ready to walk again. Such little personalities. |
Couver has a very macho man walk. He walks like he has big muscles :p Khloe prances. She has a very feminine and dainty walk and is definitely a girl. |
