It's best not to give them any water or food for @ least 1-2 hrs before & after a car ride, esp if they get car sick. Mine love car rides & never got sick (vomit), but I think they get motion sickness bc they'll be panting even if it's not hot. You can also get her accustomed to getting in the car w/out actually driving off. She'll get used to being/riding in the car, sticking her out the window in no time! |

My little Max drools as soon as we get in the car, and usually pukes around mile 10 on any trip. I bought him a thunder shirt and nice car seat so he can see out of the window, but the drool and puke still happen. We are working on it slowly. Going out and sitting in the car without going anywhere, driving up and down the driveway, a little drive around the block. Poor guy, he just does not like going for rides. |
