Oh My Oh my heart is hurting so much. The Rescue Group I Volunteer with, we took in a BEAUTIFUL 1 year old Morkie Girl who is just precious. Her pervious owners turned her into the Shelter to be Put Down. The Shelter didn't want to it, so we got into her one of our Foster Homes. The abuse this sweet baby suffered. The family said when she was 4 months old she diarrhea and it wouldn't stop. So these horrible people gave this give Enemas every day to to keep her from having diarrhea. Of course that didn't help and just created more problems. The shelter her started on medication to clear up the diarrhea and started on special food. She was taken to teh Vet when we got her and of course the Vet had to do Rectal Exam on this sweet and she screamed so much. She has horrible open sores in her resctum after having enemas everyday for at least 4 months that we know of. Lord knows what else her previous owners did to her. Her Foster said she had an accident in her husbands lap and she took running scared and shaking so much. Foster Mom had to get down in the floor to re-assure her that she was not in trouble and that it was ok. The Shelter is pursuing Animal Cruetly Charges against the family who had her. I hope and pray they get in so much trouble, and Ihope they are given enemas every day as well. I know Sweet Mona will find a loving home and give her the life she so deserves and treat her like the Princess she is. |
OMG Vicki I could cry. How in the world could people be so inhumane and cruel. I pray that the family who abused this sweet little baby are prosected for the way they treated her.:( Such a sad way for her to begin her life:(:( |
Someone needs to hole them down and give them enemas every day for 4 months. I am appalled at the way people think. Why did they just not take her to a vet to fine out what the problem was? I am so mad |

$%&^^$$@@@**!!!!! oh my, I am crying so hard that I can hardly type, how the heck would anyone think that would be a treatment for diarrhea. God forbid I hope they do not have children. Common sense, if they had any, would say that is the opposite thing to do. Lola had a problem at about 5 months and before her treatment kicked in her bottom was so sore that she screamed each time she would have a BM plus the fear she had in her face when she knew she was going to have to go broke my heart. To this day she is always concerned about her BM's. I hope those people did not ruin her rectum so she that will never be able to hold it. She could wind up with a leaking problem, I pray that will not be the case. Knowing what distress Lola was in for that short time, just makes me ache knowing how long this little girl had to go through this horror. I hope they get what is coming to them |
Poor baby! Im just so sad for what she had to endure and so glad she is away from that family. I hope they are found guilty of animal cruelty |
There is a human salve that helps with the healing and alleviate the pain. I know that vets normally frown on giving dogs human product but this helped Lola. MY gf had surgery down there and her pain was unbearable so her doc told her about it, she brought it over for Lola. I put a cone on Lola so she would not be able to lick it off, but within a day her pain had subsided quite a bit. I wonder if they have used anything like this on her. |
I couldn't read all of your post once I saw the enema part - had to kind of skip read!!! I didn't think I could be shocked again but guess I was wrong. This poor little baby!!! I am so glad this little one's life now is getting better and better and hopefully one day soon, strong and well, the sweet one will be lying in a loving woman's lap, the apple of her eye and settled into a life of loving and caring forever. And I hope the former owners are prosecuted, fined and shamed to the max. And boy, do I love that enema idea of one way to do the prosecuting! |

Oh my word! Every time I read a story like this I get physically ill. :( I just can\'t phantom humans being so cruel! :mad: Thanks to her wonderful rescuers, I pray this poor baby recovers soon and that her little little soul will learn to trust a human again. |

This is breaking my heart! If they had a child I guarantee they would change the diet to bland or do the BRAT diet, but to use an enema! To me that is so cruel! I know my poor morkie, Bailey had a bit of diaraehh one day and it was because he ate something he wasn\'t supposed to. Please keep us informed on this dear puppies progress. |
There are \'heart complications\' in humans and then there are "heart" complications. To be honest I not only feel badly for wee little Mona but I feel badly for her former skinparents as well, for not having any heart whatsoever. I can\'t even fathom having no soul. I hope and pray little Mona finds her forever home and is cherished on a daily basis. |

I am amazed daily by the heartless cruelty that human beings can subject people as well as animals to. Is it ignorance or is it just selfish lazy cruelty? I don\'t know. All I know is that we used to think of ourselves as a kind and generous people. That seems to me a minority opinion lately. As a person who has seen a few generations go by it is sad to say that things may have advanced technologically but our humanity seems to be slipping badly. |

Omg have those people heard of a vet! WTF if you an not control it with chicken and rice. You take the pup to the vet. People like that disgust me. I think those types of people should be branded so that others can see what they did and that they could never ever have any pet ever again. I am so disgusted I need a shower! |

I can not in my wildest dreams figure out how or why ANYONE would think that this is ok treatment for any animal. How stupid can people be,,maybe I should stop asking that question. I just do not get it!! |
