| Help-Looking for "heavy" bed Jaeger has this little fleece bed that we got when he was a baby, and it's served us really well-he's super rough with it, beats the crap out of it, drags it around the house and it's stood up fairly well to his abuse-there's only a few small holes and it's a bit misshapen. My problem is that he's a resource guarder, so he'll try and steal my floor mat and pillows all the time, and he gets anxious near the recliner. When we chase down his bed and direct him to it, he's usually ok, but I'd like a nice heavy bed that we can put in one spot and let him know that's HIS place that will stay his place. He's 9 lbs and fairly strong, and I dont want a huge bed, I want it to be Jaeger sized. Any ideas? |

| If you're handy with tools you can build one from a used end table or wood. I made Noah and Allie beds out of table legs, a small sheet of plywood and some 1x3's These are fence posts, cut in half http://i1199.photobucket.com/albums/...n/579af509.jpg http://i1199.photobucket.com/albums/...n/41bae743.jpg these are table legs, ready made from home depot and turned upside down. http://i1199.photobucket.com/albums/...n/43469e68.jpg http://i1199.photobucket.com/albums/...n/a57dbfed.jpg I used handkerchiefs for the cushions ( 2 for .99 at the dollar tree). Noah chewed on his a little but a light sanding took care of it. They climb on them like monkeys but can't move them around.
