Niagara on the Lake 1 Attachment(s) are any YT members living in Niagara on the Lake, we are heading up there the weekend for the weekend after this 9/14-9/17 and we are bringing Lola found a nice B&B that is dog friendly. If you love wine and live anywhere near this, this is one of the prettiest towns and area I have been in, and the funny thing for us here in the states especially in MI it is less than a 5 hour drive and so few people know about it. We are bringing our bike and plan to ride to the fall along the Niagara River on their nice bike path, I have the perfect basket for Lola. Pic is with Kirby my last purebred yorkie |
wow, sounds like a lovely place . hope you all have a wonderful time.. love the pic. |
Sounds like fun. We live about 1.5 hrs away. |

I work for a few hours on Saturday, but that might still be the better day to hook up. Unfortuantely I have never trained Razzle to ride in a basket! Maybe we will need to meet someplace local for lunch and a nice walk. I'll see if Ball's FAlls I told you about has water for swimming in. If you plan on going into Niagara Falls on the Canadian Side on Saturday there is a waterish side park that has picnic tables et al. We could do a BBQ and a doggie romp. We have a lovely portable Weber and of course would supply all the goodies. Oh I do so hope everything works out and we can meet up. |
Oh how fun. Sounds like a wonderful time! Y'all enjoy! |
I am originally from North Tonawanda, New York so I know right where you are! However, having lived in Houston for almost 27 years, it isn't possible for me to be there. Boy, I don't miss the snow and cold but I DO miss the GORGEOUS AUTUMNS in that part of the world. Louise and Zachary |
Enjoy and I love your basket... |

I forgot to mention, it probably has the second largest amount of winearies in North America after CA. There most be 70 or more and you can ride your bike to many of them. Lola is having a special wine harness dress made for the trip, we don't have it yet but I will post pictures when I get it. |
Luckily your trip isn't planned for this weekend as the weather here is awful and we are being pounded by high winds and rain. I often go to Niagara on The Lake, its "stomping grounds" for my friends and I. But whatever I do on the Canadian side I always match with the American side...we who are fortunate enough to live over here consider Canada and USA our home! Below is a link to the American side...many of these places (been to them all) have wonderful special events etc., and are just as fun as the Canadian Side. I was in awe on my first visit as I didn't even know these things were here! Niagara USA :: Wine Trail There is much to do at Niagara on the Lake, even in the winter. Have fun and I hope the weather is good. |
