| ![]() So If we drop a napkin, Dexter will tear it up and eat some, he is pulling the stuffing out of his toys. When we try the drop routine, it does not work, even with the liver treats. If we try to grab it he nips. Will the stuffing make him sick? We catch most of it, but he eats some. He has dozens of toys, but he is a Yorkie... |

| ![]() Jada has never been able to get any stuffing out of her toys but she is very fond of eating lint unfortunately. I always make sure her stuffed toys look sturdy and I cut the tags off because she loves to chew them. Small amounts of paper or stuffing probably won't hurt but I'm sure too much could cause digestive problems. Maybe you could try some of the toys that they have out now that do not have stuffing in them. Petsmart has them. |

| ![]() If he is actually eating the stuff he may be missing something in his diet. I would think a little bit of napkin would pass but to much stuffing I would think can cause a blockage and with as small as yorkies are I bet it wouldn't take to much.

| ![]() He probably needs to chew and stuffing is not good for any dog's intestinal tract, often causing obstructions in little dogs. Replace those toys with kong toys with kibble inside and other trusted chew toys that he can stay busy with while staying safe medically.
