What about Chattiesmom? Doesn't she make harnesses? Maybe she might now of something too? Idk, I'm not good at any redesigning! Haha!

I found this one that doesn't cover the sholders of the dog. Plus I think they offer expediant shipping. It may be just what you are looking for.

My dogs have simular ones doc says are caused by sweat glands.

That's a good design, but I think the top part might be too thick and would touch the incision :confused:

They don't know what the lump is, they're removing it Tuesday and sending it to pathology. Then we'll know!

I'm on my phone, hope this works! how about something like this- Just for after the surgery Soph is going to be taking it easy anyway.. maybe the strap in the front can go on the breast bone!?

I totally get what you are saying...a vest harness with one solid shoulder the other a smaller strap so it will not rub the incision while healing.?

Goodness Sarah, I feel so bad for Sophia!
Here's another idea. Have you ever seen the thundershirts? They're made with a very taut stretchy cotton/spandex type of fabric. Then it fastens under the belly but there's also another added flap of fabric that snugs it just a little more. If something for Sophia were made more like the old tube tops, you could completely eliminate a need for anything around the neck/shoulders. A band could be put down the center with the d-ring attached.

Sophia, we are so happy to see so many creative and talented YT members working to design a harness for you. We know they will make sure that you are comfortable and that your incision is safe from harm while you are recuperating.

Our grandpa keeps telling us he is going to put a hook in our tails to attach a fishing reel. Haha grandpa -- not! :rolleyes: -- Max & Teddy

All of the YTers are amazing for contributing their ideas/help. I don't know what I would have done with Sophia without you all!! I might have had to take that advice and put a hook in Sophia's tail ;):eek:
