| New recall: This time, treats! On October 13, Nature's Recipe brand announced a voluntary recall of some of its dog treats due to possible contamination with Salmonella bacteria. To learn which products are affected, please visit the following link: Nature's Recipe Dog Treats Recall Please be sure to share the news of this alert with other pet owners. Donating YT 3000 Club Member | Wow here goes another item. . . . Have a question. Once the item is listed on a recall, whether it is food or treats, do you never buy the product again or do you wait and purchase it again? |

| The only dog food I feed is Royal Canin...have not had any recalls so that has not been an issue. I make all my own treats, or give Cheerios, Fruit Loops, Teddy Grahams, Vanilla Wafer pieces, graham cracker pieces, pieces of chicken gizzards or chicken liver if I bake a chicken...I fix the "extra" stuff for the babies....also green beans....so I have never had to decide if I would go back to giving something that had been recalled at one time. Guess if it was made in the USA, and the company was not notorious for recalls, and especially if it was a recall for possible metal from the equipment.....I would probably go back after awhile.... |
