| Problems keeping in hair bands I have been trying to put Molly And Lily's hair up in a top knot but within 2 minutes they have either pulled their own out or each others ! Is so frustrating. Any tips on what to use and how to make it stay ? Thanks

| I'm sorry I don't have any advice for you. I know sugarmamma on here has the same problem. I know you don't want to hear this but picturing them doing it is so funny! . Hopefully someone can give you some advice. Good luck!

| I am not sure that you will be able to put something in to stay, if they are pulling each other's topknots out. Something that would keep it up tight, might pull their hair out to if they are tugging on each other Good Luck, my two leave each other alone, but my mom has trouble with her little biewer girl...she takes her own out.

| When I use the little scrunchies for top knots...which is most of the time, Brody will take Mia's scrunchie out...I 'think' she asks him to...I've seen them 'whispering' just before he snatches it...lol If their bows 'need' to stay in, try gathering the top knot, divide it in half, band the front, put the bow band on the front half, then join the back half to the front and band just above the front half and bow bands. It the top knot is long, you can make a little 'knob' at the top by looping the hair back down toward the head, and band at the base of the 'knob' but above the other bands then comb the rest of the top knot down the back of the head and neck or in front of the ear. Brody's groomer did that (in front of the ear) and I copied it...it gets very neat...like magic. To make sure you don't cut the bow band when removing, try using a different color band for the top knot than what's on the back of the bow. I have used clip bows between the front and back halves, too, but I worry they'll swallow the metal clip so I only use clip bows when they're heavily supervised and/or distracted...French clips are supposed to stay in better, but I've read that they break the hair...saw it first about human hair, then about dogs' hair...so I don't know if I'd use them on a regular basis for long periods of time. Good luck!

Katie Scarlett's Mommy Donating Member | We use those baby scrunchies you find in the baby department at Walmart on KSod for us. We use one and then toss it at the end of the day. They work pretty good for us. You can buy a big pack for $2.50 I believe it is. They last us a while and are multi colored. I think they are maded by Faded Glory.

| I think if they are pulling at the topknots with their teeth there is not much you can do except tell them not to do it. Babies being babies they may go at it again when you are not looking. |
