Snoopy sleeps in our bed usually, although sometimes he leaves and sleeps on the couch with a fleecy blanket. Sally starts the night in her crate by my bed. When she wakes up to potty, I put her on a potty pad and then she sleeps the rest of the night in our bed. Does anyone have a pup that sleeps under the covers? Sally likes to burrow, but I worry about her getting enough air. |

Gracie sleeps with me on my bed. She has since the first night I had her at home with me. All of my small dogs have slept on the bed. They have needed ways to climb up there. I purchased pet steps for Gracie when she was finally big enough to use them. As a puppy she usually slept through the night. If she got up I would take her to her pee pad. When I had larger dogs they would sleep in my bedroom in thier own beds. A Collie we had years ago was having trouble with not waiting to potty in the moring so we tethered her to the door of the bedroom with her bed there to sleep in at night. It stopped the accidents during the night and after she was old enough to go free at night she kept sleeping in the bedroom. I have always trained my dogs in a way that they could eventually have free run of the house. When they are trustworthy enough to be free in the house they usually want to be where you are. So my bedroom has been quite crowded at times over the years between the cats and the dogs. |
They use to sleep with us but after the third one it became too much. We were loosing sleep so they had to go in their own beds, on the floor in our room. Well now they stay down stairs because after three year of still loosing sleep from the constant pacing and hearing their nails tapping on the hard wood floor, it was just not worth the aggravation. Now all four of them stay in the living room in their choice of three different doggy beds and evryone is happy ! Most of all ME... |

Yoshi sleeps with us. He has a spot at the foot of the bed where I put his favorite ducky blanket. He can't get back up on the bed once he jumps off to go potty. So I have a small plastic crate that I used for potty training that I move around the house. I leave it on the bedroom floor overnight. Sometimes, he'll he be in his crate when I wake up in the morning. But most of the time, he's still in the bed. He also has a wire crate with a cover in the living room. I got the cover here: BOWhausNYC | Crate Covers and Beds |
Bailey sleeps with us. He lays right next to me and if my hubby takes him..he will whine and jump over him to get to me. |
Yes KB has her own set of stairs leading to our bed. She was an only child for 3 years and she would have it no other way. Meggie insists on sleeping next to my bed on her FUFU. |
5 dogs in our house, they all sleep in their own places . Puppy's together in a crate other three wherever they like. |
Georgie has slept with us since 15 minutes into the first night he came home;) He whined and we put him in the bed and he has been there ever since. Coco (Boxer) used to sleep with us until she became arthritic and now she has her own orthopedic bed. We have a king bed but it was interesting to have my husband, 4 year old son, Coco and Georgie in our bed LOL Georgie likes sleeping under the covers and cuddles a lot with Daddy:) |
Both of my girls sleep with us. Mikki sleeps in the middle of the bed but Rosie will lay her head on the pillow beside me. She sleeps right between DH and I. And when he gets to close, she growls at him! :D |
