She said she takes them to a vet but when I looked it up it was like a free clinic. She said she would have the 6 month shots done and a vet certificate. Said the mom had 4 pups and one got injured by a guest so she is keeping one female and has the male and female to sell. They are reduced from 400 because they are older. SHe said I could see the parents if I would like to but I'mnot going to someones house.
Any more thoughts? | Yes, I had a dog that was the offspring of a father/daughter pairing, and it had a severe genetic illness, that paralyzed it. I'll never forget the look in my vet’s eye when he said to me, "Damn backyard breeders." I'll also never forget the look in my children's eyes when they watched in horror as our little dog bleed out his bottom and dragged himself around and there was nothing we could do about it. This was 30 years ago, now, they could probably help the dog, but of course the cost would also be very high. I personally would rather find a good breeder who breed for health. |
