| I feel so horrible! Little Gabby is just barely a week out of surgery from having her spay and those rotten teeth pulled out. Since then, her personality has changed so much. She seems so much happier, bouncing around like tigger and just a happy little dog. And she's SO affectionate now. Comparing her attitude now to what it used to be makes me think she was in pain from those teeth for a long time. I feel bad that she had to go through that. Poor Gabby

| Don't feel bad, they can hide their pain and we have a hard time knowing when something is wrong. Just be thankful that she is feeling so much better...

| Aw Sweetie, I agree with the others. Have a happy dance, don't feel bad about the past it is unchangeable and we can't make up for stuff that we couldn't control. Just go forward and enjoy her new spunky attitude.

| Aww I know exactly how you feel. When we found the tumor on Jada's back, I had a dental done while they had her under anesthesia. She had two loose teeth and one that was rotten in the back of her tiny mouth. She had quit playing with her favorite toy and her little mouth was staying wet with drool, and I had no idea she was in pain A week out from her surgery and she was playing again with yellow dog. I felt so guilty that I didn't know she was hurting I am so glad Gabby is feeling better and don't beat yourself up, my vet said I would have never known about her tooth until it most likely would have abcessed.

| I know. I just wish I could have done this for her 6 months ago and spared her the pain. I SO love the new and improved Lil Gabs. I just got back from shopping and she jumped all over me like she hasn't seen me in months. I was barely gone an hour!

| I am glad you posted your experience here. My Suzi is going in tommorow for the same thing. I know about one tooth already, but not sure about her others? And her spay will be done too, Suzi is always bouncy and loves to give kissess to everybody, but, sometimes her breath is awful, and she did go through a period of fighting with our other little dog, she acted like she was so jealous, each time Miely was on my lap. This was not her ususal self at all. I hope Suzi has such a positive result as your girl has. Maybe she will mellow out some? I don't know. Don't feel bad , you did not know, so it really is not your fault. Glad everything is going so well for your little one.

| Your talking to someone who taught her pup hand signals and yet didn't know she was deaf for 7 months... Don't feel bad, we all have our DUH moments...our pups always seem to forgive us!
