Good Thoughts Request - Please Good Morning Everyone, I would like to request a good thoughts on my quest to adopt one of the rescue Yorkie Puppies who recently arrived at Atlanta Pet Rescue (see link, scroll to the bottom). Toy Dogs I put my applicaiton in bright and early yesterday morning when they became available for adoption. As I have mentioned in the past I am an active volunteer with this rescue and truly believe in their mission. Being a volunteer does not give any type of advantage, I need to prove myself a good dog owner and go through the process like anyone else. I am fine with that process since this is one of the qualities I admire about APR (that they really screen their potential owners). Wish me luck, oh and wish me luck that Sophie Kate pass her part of the interview (thank goodness I do not need to take Avery the Cat in, he is not much for a car ride). |
Sending out good vibes that you will be able to adopt one of these precious babies. They are all so very cute. You are correct that being a volunteer doesn't mean automatic. I know, the Rescue Group I Volunteer with I had to go thru all procedures 2 times on the two I adopted. All paws and fingers crossed for you. |

Thank you Ladies, I love Baby Ruth with her little tongue sticking out. If you scroll up in the pictures you will see their Mom Candy. She was adopted last Sunday when I was there volunteering. |

Thanks everyone, no word yet but they are accepting applications until tomorrow at 10:00 am. I do appreciate the positive thoughts and I know how ever it works out the puppies will have wonderful homes (I will keep prepping myself to be happy either way but honestly I might cry a little). |

Sending up some prayers for you. I know about volunteering, sometimes I am so in love with fosters I don't want to give them up. But I know it is the right thing to do. I know every Yorkie deserves to be loved and be someone's special baby. I know if you get another, they will have that for sure. |
