Hi! And thank you everyone for the hugs and prayers. :) I dropped her off this morning at 8a.m. and was a blubbering baby when I handed her off. I'm tearing as i'm writing this. And thanks Lisa for the pj's tip. I did give them to her and her favorite blanket from Ann and Riley.(from YHR) :D I felt like I left a big chunk of my heart back when I drove off. They just called me at 10a.m. to let me know that she is done and she did and is doing great! She already tried to pull out her catheter. :p I just laughed and said "That's my girl!" I need to call back at 2p.m. to see what time I can pick her up. I miss her and NEED her home. Thank you all SO much for all of your love and support. I honestly don't think I would be as confident and strong without you all. HUGS, Roni~ |
Way to go Ahi, pulling those tubes out! :D I am so happy for you Roni that the hardest part is over and that your little girl will be back in your loving arms in a few hours. :) |
Woohoo! Great news! Ahi is taking this all like a champ! She'll be home soon and atleast its over now!! |

Good luck with Ahi. Will keep you in my prayers |
Yay, glad she came thru ok and nice and early too. I know you will be relieved to get her back home, and hope you can keep her calm and quiet for a little while. |
I'm so glad Ahi did well! They recover fairly quickly. With Sugar it was about 4 days before no belly pain and crying when we lifted her :( The PJ's were a last minute decision on my part but I was so glad I thought of it! She wore them for 3 days and I didn't have to worry about hurting her little belly trying to dress her once she was home. |
Awesome. You are going to be shocked at how she bounces right back. It's a struggle to get them to take it easy because she will do so well. May be sleepy for the day then bouncing like a ball. |

I will be praying for her and you! Truffles got spayed on 7th,June and I even took "DR App" for two days from my work so I could pick her up and stay home with her next day! I cried when I picked her up. she was looking so ... out of it!! but she did good next day and never messed with surgery area! Ohhhhh she did good!! glad to hear! ;) |
Glad all went okay. Hope she has a peacefully rest full night Poor little girl will be sore for a few days |
Glad everything went well with her spay. My Suzi will be having hers on July 11, and a dental cleaning, with possible tooth extraction, I'm trying to to think about it, makes me worry, even though it is still a few weeks away. |
1 Attachment(s) Ahi is home! :D The office workers said when I walked in (She was in the back) she must have sensed me. She was lying in the back of the cage the whole time, but when I walked in she immediately got up and came to the front! They were wondering why until they seen me. She has "mommy sense":D She is doing good. They said she wouldn't sleep the whole time...just kept watching them and waiting.. She has a cute animal print bandage around her. She drank water and already ate! She is walking around slowly. I'm sure she is extremely tired. She takes a lot of beauty naps at home but not once did she nod off at the vets. I'm just glad she is where she belongs. She is currently under my chair. Quote:
