NCSU bound We're traveling back to the vet school in NC today. Zhoie girl has a 9:00 dental in the morning and a neuro follow up at 2:00 pm The closer We get the more nervous wreck I'm becoming. We would love to have your prayers. |

Thank you all so much for keeping Zhoie in your thougts and prayers. This girl is so funny, we got to our room where we always stay (Hampton Inn & Suites) and Zhoie walked into the place like she was right at home;). She sprawled all out on the bed like she is queen of the castly:D Now, for the not so pleasant news, so we take Zhoie out for a walk to do her business and I stepped on a large anthill :eek: WOW, those little dickens was half way to my knees before I felt the bites:mad: The itching is nasty, welted up...but thank goodness I carry Benedryl for Zhoie...chugged some of it for myself! LOL, did we know, mommy was going to have to use it :p |
Oh my gosh!!! They can really sting!! Bless your heart. :(:( Well at least Zhoie is being queen of the castle! Ha ha!! |
OMG Tena are you ok? Ant bites can be so painful:( Glad you all made it to NCSU safe and sound. I will keep Zhoie in my prayers for sure for tomorrow. Hope you get some sleep after those nasty ants attacked you. Hate it happened to you, but thankful little Zhoie girl didn't step in them. |
I'm so thankful Zhoie didn't get in them. When I looked felt the stink and looked down, the first thing I did was grab her up and start dusty her legs. Pat looked down as I'm stomping my feet and started slapping my ankles:D I can laugh now...can you just imagine that sight:eek:, LOL He said later "she is alway first, huh" my repy was "ALWAYS!" |
I can just picture that scene lol :) I will keep you and Zhoie in my prayers. She is such a little fighter and you are an incredible mom to her! She is lucky to have someone like you to make sure that she gets better. I can't wait to hear good news after her check up. Remember to take care of yourself too :) |
Prayers for Zhoie...she's a little trooper! I am sure she will be just fine! Don't scratch those bites...they get really nasty and infected if you do! I keep a topical spray on hand because Benadryl knocks me for a loop. I hate, hate, hate fire ants. |
