Is it just me or does it seem we are having more blue-borns showing up???? This is definitely NOT a good sign...gene pool is contaminated with breeding dogs that are genetically inferior. I am sure ...at least I HOPE so....these dogs are NOT ever crossed into the old established breeding lines/pedigrees.....THIS is why responsible breeders will not sell intact dogs for breeding, to anyone that is not an experienced concerned breeder, with a working knowledge of pedigrees. We do not want this getting into the lines so many wonderful, top notch breeders have spent YEARS developing and fine tuning, in order to keep this breed wholesome and gorgeous and compliant with the breed standard. |

This is what you end up with. Just like the Pimp my dog thread was saying, many of us have been approached on the street because our dogs are pretty by owners of unsterilized dogs looking for a hook up. First even if my dog wasn't a unic, I'd be having dna tests and doggie venereal disease tests done on any potential partner. |

my friends bf refuses to let their dog be fixed he's now almost two and craaaaaaaaaaaazy |
I had my Ollie neutered at 6 month old as we decided before we purchassed him we did not want to breed him. Ollie is a pedigree but we chose not to register him in the UK Kennel Club which we would have paid for as we didnt see the point as we were not breeding him. I have been approached on numerous occassions by dog owners intrested in breeding from him as he is "pretty" and has a lovely nature - I do not a gree with mixing breeds as usually it equals health problems. Ollie does have a smooth coat chihauhau teacup girlfriend who he regually "loves up" but shes neutered too - Ollie is a teapot & shes teeny next to him but they are so in love its sweet but no breeding. |

Do you think it has anything to do with the AKC registering some off colored Yorkies? Maybe... |
I have only ever seen one blue pup and he was absolutely stunning. He is not being bred so don't throw a wobbly. The curious thing is that people were willing to pay more for him because of his color. He did stand out from the crowd I admit. |
