| Floating like a....butterfly? We decided to take Gizmo to Stoney Creek Park today (it's the DH's birthday and that's what he wanted to do). So we figured we'd bring Gizmo because he's coming up north with us on the 4th and we wanted to see how he would handle boats, canoes, water... Well, I bought Gizmo this adorable little pink and green life jacket (my husband called him a watermelon) and rented a canoe. Gizmo ended up being a hit. This park is really dog friendly, and even the boat patrol people were stopping by to say hello and to compiment Gizmo on his life jacket. My husband decided to jump in the water, so I thought it would be a good chance to see how Gizmo took to the water. So, I gently place him in, and off he went! Swam like a little trooper out to my husband, and then back to me in the boat. He had a ball! And loved sun bathing on the boat. Needless to say it was a wonderful, but I'm burnt to a crisp. I'm kicking myself that I didn't have anything waterproof to carry my phone in so I could take pictures of him. But next week we're going again and I'll try to get some cute pictures of Mr. Gizmo floating like a butterfly in his watermelon vest!

| I bet Gizmo was a doll!! I was wondering where the pictures were and you answered that question at the end! Can't wait to see him next week.
