| ![]() My yorkie found something dead in the yard the other day and he started to roll around on it. Just wondering why he is doing that. Anyone have an answer? He had to come in and get a bath. It was bad.

| ![]() We visited my grandparents farm every weekend as a kid and the first thing my Yorkie did was to look for some fresh cow pies to roll in. If she couldn't find a fresh one she would settle for an older one. She especially liked to get her ears covered. What a smell! The first time she could see I was distracted she was off hunting! |

![]() ![]() ![]() One school of thought is that they're trying to camouflage their own smell, in something that smells bigger/scarier then them - to kind of get accepted. Why Harry would think a worm is big and scarey is beyond me.... ![]() ![]() ![]() | |

| ![]() I used to have a little Maltese that loved to roll in dead things. Since we had cats there would sometimes be a dead carcus in the back yard when she went out and she would find it first thing. ![]() ![]() ![]() |

| ![]() Stinky things to Yorkies are like perfume to us. Ever spray some perfume on your wrist and try to get your Yorkie to smell it? They will wrinkle their nose and turn their heads. Watch how fast they will roll in dirty undies if they are thrown on the floor! ![]()

| ![]() Lol that funny. Milo hates his puppy cologne. He runs if I get the bottle out. I have to spray it in my hand and rub it on him that way. Lol he is so funny

| ![]() I agree. They love stinky things. Mine love dirty clothes especially dirty undies and socks. No matter how cute or small , a dog is dog. |

| ![]() My first yorkie loved my cats' litter box - and the stuff in it. Though I loved my dog, I was seriously put off by the scent of the litterbox on his breath as he kissed me. Now, he's departed and I no longer have cats. So that "habit" won't return to my home with my new baby. Tracey |
