"He loves you too much." I received an interesting comment from the groomer yesterday. Kaji was ready to leap out of the arms of the groomer to get to me. He failed to notice I was a good 4 feet away. He would have hit the floor before getting to me. :( he was crying, and whimpering. Kaji just wanted his momma. That prompted the groomer to say, "my god, he loves you too much." Is there such a thing as loving "too much." |
No he just hates the groomer "that much" BWAHAHAHA. I never take mine to the groomers, I just don't trust them. I would buzz Kaji but I'm not too savvy wity the clippers. =/ Well, he's been through a lot the past few days so I guess let him off easy. |
No way! My guys are the same way about us...they love, love, love!! I can't leave the room without atleast a couple of mine following me. There's absolutely nothing wrong with our furkids being extremely attached to us (and vice versa). |
Maybe she was trying to really say he was too anxious in her opinion to be there without you & so stressed he would take a risky chance of injury trying to get to you once you returned. Did she say anything about him panting or salivating a lot, shaking or pacing, stressing or mention he seemed "too attached" to you? I've heard people use that phrase in the past more than once as a euphemism for telling someone their dog was nervous or stressing without them. If that's not what she meant, what else could she mean? IDK. |
I think it was an off the cuff remark based on Kajis dramatic reaction. No I dont think theres a too much. |
Males have such a deep, devoted bond....I have to be very careful I do not allow my male puppies to become too attached to me, if they are here for any length of time......it is really hard on them to separate from me to go to their new home, so it is something I am very careful about. |
well i guess oscar "loves me too much too" cause he does that with everyone. he only wants mom.... |

Ditto.... Ain't no mountain higgggghhhhhh enough Ain't no river widdddddeeeeee enough To keep me from yooooouuuuu. The words to Brandi's theme song :p |
I love when people say Georgie loves me too much the feeling is mutual:D I think it's great that Kaji feels that way;) |
I learned my lesson arriving at the groomers to early. Bella didn't want any part of it. The groomer wasn't done. She says Bella does really good when I'm not there. Lesson learned. And yes she is attached...lol Kinda like that. |
I have the same experience with Mollie. She'd whimper and bark when i put her in the pushcart at the mall and she can't see me. When we're out and someone else's holding her leash, she's pull and pull, twist around to try to get to me. Mollie's hyper so when my nieces comes with us on our Sunday walk, I let them hold her leash so they can run ahead of me and Mojo. Mollie will constantly look back, sometimes running sideways even. And to think that Mollie's my sister's puppy... she's given up on trying to get Mollie's affection hehehehehe. |

Pretty much what you saw on Friday is normal. I get home to a happy jumping Kaji every day. Maybe it was 2% more than usual excitement last Friday because he hadn't seen me in a while, but yeah... Totally normal. :D |
Mine act the same way when I come to get them from the groomers:laugh: And they LOVE their groomer ladies, they get a lot of love and attention there. They've never made a comment except for how they can see how much my girls love me, and their Daddy too (he picks them up sometimes). Perfectly normal:D!!! |
