:):):) This is so sweet! Yorkies are precious. When I first read the thread, I thought the groomer was saying he loves you SO much. I thought it was a complement - the tone of voice would be the key. I just left Mrs. Beasley at the groomer and she would not look at the groomer - like "if I don't see her, she doesn't exist" LoL :) |
I think its sweet that Kaji loves you that much. There is nothing like a yorkies unconditional love |
I just read your comment about males being more attached. I was so glad to hear you say this! I have always felt and thought this but I can absolutely tell the difference in the attachment of my male to the attachment of my female!! My previous male (now crossed over the rainbow bridge) was very definitely a Momma's boy too, but my Bailey is even worse than my Rowdee was. My female, Gabee, loves me bunches but she loves everyone - just a very affectionate sweet girl - Bailey doesn't love anyone but his Momma. |

Not just a boy thing....my girls are the same way. :) If I leave a room and shut the door behind me, my Izzy will jump up and down, scratching the door and yelping with each jump. I try to explain to her that it was merely a quick snack run to the kitchen, but she is so beside herself excited to see me again that she hears none of it. ;) |
I think it's so swwwweeeeet that he loves you that much! My Lucy loves me that much. Ringo, I feel loves me, but would adjust right away if something happened to me. |
Thor is like that too. He likes people, but if he's on someone else's lap when I walk into the room, he starts struggling to get to me. I have to admit, it does worry me a little bit... especially because sometimes I think it offends other people. I remember once I gave my friend Thor's leash while I went into a porta-potty, and he almost tore her arm off trying to follow me. She definitely liked him a little less after that. I take Thor to work with me, which is a huge bonus, and I want everyone to welcome him. That was easier when he was more social, and he's also started guarding me more, which means barking at anyone who comes to my desk. The one time it doesn't bother me: when his old owner who didn't pay attention to him is holding him and he starts crying to get to me. Funny thing is, when SHE was the owner, he was perfectly fine sitting on my lap around her. :D |
Awwww. He loves his mama. Never enough in my opinion! |
