| Green peppers? Ok, so Zhoie is a girl that eats NOTHING but her dog food morning and night. Once in a great while, I can get her to eat a bite of apple. I have tried every fruit and I thought, veggie under the sun.....but low and behold the girl ate a bite of green pepper. I didn't give her more, I wanted to get your thoughts first....is green pepper ok? Who would have thought

| I thought I read on here that green peppers are ok. Don't quote me on that. I don't remember exactly where I read that.

| I have read quite a few posts lately where, people do give their dogs green peppers. I have never done it but my dog is a fruit girl. She doesn't care for many veggies. I believe one of the threads was called "Fruits and veggies?" You can looke it up through the search option. |

| I think green BELL peppers are ok, but not green chili peppers. Never tried giving them to Uni though, I hate green bell peppers. But I like yellow and red ones.

Max Main's Mamma Donating YT Member | I gave a couple pieces to Max last night and do so every now and again. His stomach handles it fine. He loves fruit and veggies.

| My neighbor's spaniel eats red bell peppers, big chunks, every day. I never imagined a dog eating such a thing.

| I never thought a dog would eat plain lettuce until Dvlsh told me Kaji eats the thick stem parts of the lettuce. Now I give that part to Uni if I find some in my salad (without dressing of course) and she loves it! She told me about tomato too.

Max Main's Mamma Donating YT Member | Me either!! Even my fat boxer who will eat almost anything won't go near a bell pepper or lettuce. My little Max will eat anything!

| Uni wouldn't eat lettuce when I was fostering Katie. Katie would take anything. She loved blueberries but Uni wouldn't take them. I think maybe she couldn't get past the skin. LOL Uni still doesn't eat apple skin, but loves peeled apples.
