Does your yorkie cuddle? I used to think that Priss would cuddle but alas no she does not. She will lay beside me in my chair and chew on her bully stick and will take naps there but does not sit on my lap. Also she is picky about being picked up, well I could say she is very independent. Yoshi would always want to be on my lap and be so loving and I thought all pups did that. So does yours like to cuddle and nestle on your laps? Am I doing something wrong? I love this little Diva to the moon and back and just want some extra lovens. :confused: |
She will like to cuddle more when she is older. She is still very young and many are more independent. Kacee was more independent when she was a puppy, but now she just wants to spend her time cuddling next to me or in my lap. Just be patient.:p |

Daisy is a little independent as well. She does lay on my lap sometimes but mostly likes being nearby. She likes to be curled up touching me when we are sleeping. She will grumble at me if I don't kiss her goodnight....so, she gets one before I settle in and close my eyes...cause if I forget, I just have to get up....so I try not to. Which isn't hard cause I I need my lov'n too. But mostly, she's happy being in the same room, going for walks, playing, and going on any adventures I plan for her. |
I wouldn't say Jackson is a cuddler, no. He always has to be in eyesight view of me... he's always watching me. And he'll be sitting close, but in general, he won't ask to get on my lap and he really can't stand being picked up. The one time when he is cuddly is at night and in the morning... he loves to snuggle up real close to me, or lay in between my legs down at my feet with his face resting on my leg, lol. And in the morning, he looooveess getting a good scratch and giving me kisses all over my arm. |

Sophie Kate is a MAJOR cuddle bug but not with everyone, she cuddles only with her "peeps" which is me, her Dad, my neighbor and Avery the cat. Everyone else is is content to set on their lap for a few pets. Sophie Kate will also hug me, she is not generous with her hugs - just me *YAY* because I am her Momma |
Miss Priss is my shadow and when I come home she acts like I hung the moon, so many kisses and whining as if to say, why did you leave me Mom? But the cuddle time is nill. She is almost 8 months old and is still intrigued by any and everything. She has settled down quite a bit and naps more throughout the day and the changes in her coat are amazing, her back hair is coming out silver, she sort of looks like a skunk right now with that stripe down her back or I could say her roots are silver. |
Our Kristy loves to cuddle! Mostly at night though. She needs to be curled up against someone while sleeping and I always hope she picks me instead of my hubby LOL During the day she has a bit more independence and doesn't need to be touching but she doe seem to like to b in the same room. |
My little Abby is a major cuddler, but Ziva never has been- she is much more of a princess and doesn't like to be messed with. I came down with the flu when she was two and she never left my side but not actually touching, her favorite spot is under my knees when I have my legs bent watching TV. |
Tatiana is not a cuddler either. She expresses her attachment in other ways, but not through cuddling. The only times Tatiana wants (or INSISTS) on being on my lap is when she's anxious. Sometimes when I take her to places, she seems a little nervous about the surroundings. That's when she velcroes herself to my lap. Of course, I oblige her. But I think she does this for a sense of security, not for cuddling. |
Yumi isn't a cuddler at all. She'll climb on my lap and lie down if I sit in the floor, but only to try to chew my jeans lol. She only likes being picked up right after someone gets here. She wants up to kiss them and say hi but wants down right after. It mostly seems like she would just rather play. |
Tink's not a snuggler. She never has been even when she was a little puppy. She loves always being with me and enjoys pets and rubs, though. At night, she sleeps in my bed and she will snuggle close to me during the night. Not on me but close up against me:) I enjoy that! LOL I wish she was more of a snuggler but she is who she is and I love her! |
Cuddly Harlow Harlow is very cuddly. If I am down where she can get on me, she is there. Her favorite spot is across my neck when I am laying down reading YT!! :) |
