All my girls are big cuddlers. They are always on my lap or by my side. At night they sleep under the covers with me. They weren't always that way though. Well Harmony was. From the moment she was born I couldn't put her down. So she has always been held so maybe that is why she was always a cuddler. Destiny wasn't much of a cuddler when she was younger, only on a rare occasion would she let you cuddle her. Lillie was the worst. She couldn't stand to be picked up or cuddled when she was a puppy. It wasn't until after she turned a year old that she became cuddly. Now she is the biggest snuggle bug of them all. I thought for sure she would never be a cuddle bug because she seemed to hate it so much. But I guess she just needed to grow up first. |
I have one of each. Luna is a velcro dog and if you are sitting, she is ON you:laugh: I LOVE it:D Izzy only wants to snuggle at night and will usually wait for us to all be asleep before she comes and lays with us. She's very independent in that way, but she does have to be in the same room as me, always. |
Jewels is very cuddly all the time. Chachi is when he wants to be hes more independent |
Raelle loves to snuggle,right up against my backside when im on the couch so I cant lean back..lol! Orion will snuggle for a bit and then hes off to explore what ever needs exploring or he will just bug his sister, just bc she looks to peaceful! |
zihhy is the biggest cuddle bunnie around. he wont sleep unless he's touching me. and he will play with anyone, but has to come heck on me every few minutes. then gives kisses as if to say: "oh your still here... good!" he's so cute. |
I am so lucky Molly and Lily are both cuddlers. If I want a cuddle they are happy to be picked up and oblige especially Molly who licks all over my face and neck with her whole body wagging. They both play with each other or the toys and when they get tired Molly jumps up on my lap for a snuggle Liky is a bit smaller and can't jump up yet so she sits looking up at me till I put my hand down then she climbs onto it so I can lift her up then she snuggles under my chin. Is bliss ! |
Phoebe loves to snuggle and cuddle. She mostly sits next to us rather than on us. At night she sleeps near my knees, and it's the perfect spot. |
Chewie is a HUGE cuddlier. Before getting him, our breeder had mentioned that out of the three brothers he was the most affectionate and really BIG on cuddling and always wanting to be played and touched. After getting him, he would always want to sleep in front of me where I can see him. Or sleep inside my house shoes, clothes ..just anything clothe related that are mine and my Husband. During naps and when he's super tired is when he is the cuddliest! I pick him up, set him on my chest and we sleep. |
Lexie loves to cuddle, ever since i brought her home. Sometimes my mom and i can't even sit down properly before she hops up and is snuggling into us. We always joke and say she's the real definition of a lap dog and we love it:p |
If I want her to- no. If I am busy and need to do something, well then yes! |
Miss Mini is a huge cuddler, Miss Mia not so much! Miss Mini sleeps tightly against me and MAKES me sleep on my side so she can snuggle in!! Its hysterical, meanwhile Miss Mia is being flipped all over the bed by our feet! |
My morkie is independent and not a cuddler :(. He will lay with me for a few minutes then always moves right down to lay on the floor. My mom has his brother who is the worlds biggest cuddler. Just shows how different every dog can be :) |
Gracie has been a cuddler from the very first night I had her. She cried in her crate so I put it on my bed to try to make her feel better. Finally I put a folded up towel next to me and let her lay down on it next to me. She cuddled right up to me and went to sleep. She woke up in the middle of the night and went into her crate and went pee and then came back out and went back to sleep on the towel next to me. She was very easy to house break once we established where the potty was. Usually if I sit down she is like a magnet and jumps on my lap. I used to think it was because she got cold so easily but I noticed that she would still be the same way when it warmed up. She can be a wild playful thing at times but she also quite a cuddle bug. |
