Dandy the Lion So my new pup Tufty has taken to very much enjoying dandelion flowers since the day I brought him home. I asked the vet this weekend about it when he was getting his final puppy shots and she said he is a very clever puppy as they are amazing for dogs liver function (as well as human apparently). She said it wouldn't be a bad thing to pick them puree them and add to the dogs food (I feed raw). Just wanted to share with everyone

Tufty is adorable! That's really good to know because my girls always seem to be attracted to dandelions too and I'm always worried about letting them eat them. Now I won't worry if they eat them!

Sorry to be debbie downer here....don't let them eat any random dandelions. You don't know who recently sprayed weed killer on them that hasn't worked yet....If they are on your yard, unsprayed it sounds good to me.
