Well, my maltese has been sleeping with us since she was potty trained, over 12 years now. Bayleigh (the yorkie) always sleeps with us when we're RVing, and occasionally at home, but mostly puts herself in her crate and keeps poking her head out til we close the door...and YES they like to be really close. Who knew how heavy a 6.5 lb dog could be when sleeping! |

I think she got the message. Not once has she done it. |

Can some tell me do you have steps for the Yorkies to go up and down on to get on and off of the bed. Our bed is really high up |
Yes. I built them myself and I smash my tow on them at least once a day. I think my foot is permanently disfigured because of that. |
Both of ours have slept with us from day 1 pretty much I tried to have my yorkie sleep on the floor next to the bed because I was afraid of him falling off. Needless to say we ended up changing our bed to a low profile platform, and brutus happily sleeps on the pillow on his daddys head. Luna starts in her bed usually on the floor and always ends up in the bed. |
My baby sleeps with me every night. She doesn't have steps to get up and down but she has never jumped off either. She sleeps all night and wakes me up in the morning with kisses and waits for me to get up to take her out. I wouldn't have it any other way. |

"These are the simple rules. No barking, now growling, you will not lift your leg to anything in this house. This is not your room. No slobbering, no chewing, you will wear a flea collar. This is not your room. No begging for food, no sniffing of crotches, and you will not drink from my toilet. This is not your room." |
Avery definitely sleeps with me. What I do is take a blanket and curl it in a circle on the other end of the bed and he lays in it. This prevents him from getting too close to me and me accidently rolling on him. HOWEVER, sometimes he does stray from the blanket and it's just an instinct to wake up and move him. Whenever the hubs is here, he snuggles us, but keep in mind we're only in a double bed--- I envision it a lot easier to sleep in a larger bed. Since we keep the house FREEZING at night in South Louisiana, making Avery sleep on the floor, in his bed, would be cruel. First off, he hates the fan because it annoys him and secondly-- he's only 4 lbs and I totally think he's cold 24/7. I see nothing wrong with your pup sleeping in your bed. |

I have had yorkies for over 40 years and chihuahuas and they have always slept with me. I would have it no other way! |
Yep! One of mine pee'd on my down comforter this morning! Take a guess which one did it? Can you clean these things? I just barely bought this one! I don't want to throw it out yet. (the blanket, not the dog. well.... maybe the dog..... no... no.. not the dog) |
