well....first off, i dont have a "dog"..my "babies" Mack and Bevo are cuddled up next to me at night,,,,,my furpups, Jaxon and Bryleigh are also sniggled up to their skin parents (my kids).... Why else have furkids? |
I don't have a crate. My Guy sleeps under my bed. He has claimed it as his little cave. He pees & poos on his wee pad. No problems with that. Soon as all the lights goes off at night he knows the routine. I think I'll invest in a crate just because it seems like its a must have. I'm not sure what Prince will think. |
Avery sleeps with me-- the whole night. He won't leave the bed until I do. Usually when he REALLY has to go to the bathroom he'll start moving around. I wouldn't have it any other way! |
Jack spent the first week we had him in a crate, then he graduated to our bed - sleeps right between my hubby and I. He has never had an accident in our bed. We do have his pee pad in our room. I just put him out before we go to bed and he is good to go until the morning. If by chance he does have to go before we get out of bed (yes, he sleeps in with us!) he will either whine or he will use his pee pad - though he does prefer to do his business outside. |
Some people might remember the musical group that had the name "Three Dog Night." It was an old saying that referred to how cold of a night you had. Apparently the more dogs that joined you on the bed at night meant it was a pretty darn cold evening. Gracie must feel every night is cold as she is always snuggled up next to me. In the winter we have have a couple of cats on the bed as well. When I went out and purchased a bigger bed so I might be able to straighten out my legs at night I found that it was no help at all. They all want to snuggle no matter how much room there is on the rest of the bed. |
Lucy sleeps with me and Ringo sleeps with my son. I love sleeping with Lucy; though she's had an incontinence problem ever since her bladder surgery. The medication she is taking helps a lot. She always snuggles just in the right spot. As long as she's not leaving a WET spot! I don't know WHAT I'm going to do when my son leaves for college. I don't like sleeping with both dogs in my bed because they get on either side of me and I can't move. Ringo gets pi$$y if anyone accidentally touches him in his sleep; I think he's going to end up sleeping alone! |
Calleigh sleeps with me in my bed. I am a light sleeper, so if it is cool at night I'm awake enough to put her little blanket on her. |
Brandy sleeps between my husband and me!! |

My Milo sleeps with us most of the time. He has just started to sleep in his bed in our room some to. He has a pad in our bathroom if he has to go in the night. He is 9 months old. |
This morning of all day, I was pushed out of the bed! I just walked back in the room and my Hubby & Cherry has taken over the whole bed. I see a king size bed coming soon. Plus, I want another baby(fourlegged) soon! |
my boys are sleeping next to me every night :) |
