I am SO with you. Penny has been home for three days now. The first night she was in our room in a playpen next to the bed. That did not work she cried and barked. I took her down stairs to her crate that is in our front room. She did go to sleep that night. The next night she cried wined howled and other wise made noise all night! So we resorted to having my nine year old sleep in the front room with her. She hits the potty pads most of the time. Not sure exactly what I am going to do in the long run? I can't sleep with her in my bed. She does have a FIT when I put her in her kennel (a very large one) to go out. She barks and scratches at the kennel. Anyone have any tips on limiting separation anxiety? |
Well, hmm, I failed at the crate training, I failed at the crate in my room I even tried it on my night stand. Night 3 she was in MY bed with me in a little dog bed I bought at CVS it was tiny like a cat bed I put it up next to my pillow, and there she remained for the last 3 years! LOL.. |
