I've seen that too and thought that was what the Mother of the pups mentioned in the initial post would be, but I can tell she was born looking like mine. |
OMG Kindness001!!! They are so interesting and cute! Please keep posting pictures so we can see them as they grow. You will know if "someone got in the hen house". I am positive no other dog got Tiah other than the one I took her to be bred with. The coloring on your babies reminds me of a Pug kind of. Not their looks, just their coloring. Can't wait to see more pictures in the future! |

1 Attachment(s) Well someone liked them. I sold both . but didnt ask a million . my hopusekeeper got oneand then a friend bought thew other for $400.00. They will make them nice pets. I was teasing about the hen house as i have a kennel that the dogs are in. Yes its heated and air conditioned. some of the smaller dogs live with us in the house. ;) This is their mother Twinkling Stardust. |
Awwwe, she's a doll! I'd still love to see pictures of your pups as they grow :D |
how pretty they are, as has been said they were born that way not breeded especially to have golden yorkies, once here you would have to love them. does anyone no why they come out gold, red or chocolate |
1 Attachment(s) Well, the Yorkie is believed to be a combo of these terriers; Clydesdale (now thought to be extinct,, the Skye, Leeds, Maltese, Black & Tan Manchester, and the Dandie Dinmont Terrier. The Dinmont comes in "Pepper" or "Mustard" color. I think it is interesting to look up each of these breeds individually and check out the different colors they come in. I can definetly see the color of my gold/red puppies in the Mustard colored Dandie Dinmont. I'll see if I can attach a picture of one.... |
Wow they are all too cute. I love the way Kims is posing too cute. |
I never knew a yorkie could be born any other color than black. HOW CUTE!!! |
Thank you so much for your wonderful and kind remarks about my sweet Princess Chai! She just celebrated her one year birthday and i cannot believe it! She is everything and more than you could want in a yorkie and it makes me so sad to think of all of the "off-color" yorkies who were born before her to traditional colored parents who were "culled" or drowned as puppies just because they were NOT THE BREED STANDARD color. Chai is another reason I am not completely in favor of the current standard. I feel it is highly prejucicial when these puppies come from purebred yorkshire terrier stock to discriminate against them and say they should not be bred or they are sickly or "they are cute, but they are not "really" yorkies" because prejudice of this kind is so sad. I wish yorkies like her won't so rare because I wish everyone could have the chance to own one. |
I am getting my chance I am getting one of kindness boys. We are so excited about it!!!! Thanks kindness for everything. I truly think some ppl are just closed minded. Why can't a yorkie be different. Aren't all of us different colors and shapes. If we were all alike it would be kinda boring. And I also think your Chai is beatiful!!! |
