oh and he does have a good dog bed. just so you all know :) he is very spoiled in fact |
Can you put a good dog bed in the bedroom where he is used to sleeping? Make sure he drinks lots of clean water. I'm not sure if the foam will do permanent damage. He really should be checked out by a vet. Hope you can get him there soon. If you don't have a dog bed sometimes folding a blanket up and putting it on the floor will do until you can get something else. |
Have you tried teaching a new trick? That way he would need to focus and it would stimulate his brain? |
I agree with the others about going to the vet. But maybe he is bored. I would try to bring in new toys, new games, teach him some new tricks, take him on walks. Stuff dogs like to do. |
I would get this pup back to a vet ASAP as it is very possible that there is some of the foam from the bed he chewed stuck in his belly & if so he will die if it is not removed. If there is a big enough piece of that foam in his belly it will not come out on it's own & will need to be surgically removed. You need to let the vet know there is a possibility there is foam in his intestines somewhere. This should be considered an Emergency situation till you can rule out anything is blocking his intestines. |
aww, poor little guy. Has anything changed in his schedule? I do agree with the others too.. Please keep us posted as to how the little guy is doing. Sending well wishes |
