I was just looking at some stuff online with carpet cleaning how the underpad ca hold stuff and the floor's subfloor boards- the most important thing in deep cleaning (steam really is the best) but making sure the hot water or stream is effectively extracted (vacuumed up) is the critical difference in getting anything underlying up and completely out. |

Gray bottle... Urine Off in yellow letters. |
I ended up forking out the $150 for the spotbot pet bissell cleaner. I used it on one stubborn spot. After cleaning, the blacklight shows nothing! I'm looking forward to black lighting it again tomorrow to see if theres still a difference!! keep your fingers crossed! |
I have ChemDry come and professionally clean my carpets usually once a year - twice a year this past year as I have 1 year old pups. I have a bissel spot lifter, but with two pups this year I find they have been able to sneak a pee here and there. Plus, my girl is smaller and her pees are the size of a pea! |

I went back over the spots I tried today with a blacklight...... still nothing :D :D!! The pee spot I tried was so big, you could actually see the 6" circle that was cleaned, and all the spots outside of the 6" radius still fluoresced green. gross! |
I also got a black light a little while ago because our little Sprite was peeing on my wool area carpet and I was grossed out at all the spots I saw  We just removed all the wall to wall carpeting and replaced it with hardwood last week because of my allergies, but I'm also relieved that Sprite can't leave any hidden surprises anymore. I went to the Nature's Miracle website and read their Q&A section. They say that after treating carpets with their product, the stains will still show under black light, but instead of glowing a greenish color they will appear more white. Apparently it is impossible to permanently hide the stains from a black light, but the urine itself will be removed with treatment. Think of it like a stain on your clothing. You wash it and the dirt is removed, but sometimes the stain is permanent, even though the clothes are clean. Those black lights sure are traumatic aren't they !!! |

The answer to the carpet problem is Wood Flooring lol. Nothing ever gets all of it out. It stays in the padding |
I use a product I get off QVC called Joe Campanellis stain remover it is a proffessional formula. I have had good luck with it |
