Carmen, my prayers are with you and your little girl.
Would you please tell me how old she is? I have BJ spayed and the vet said 7 months. Dee Dee was 10 when she dies and I cannot remember how old she was but I thought they did it a 6 months to make sure it is before they come in heat?

Thank you, everyone, Chanel will be 4 years old on April 28, she was my main breeding girl, until she got a sudden chicken allergy, and I decided to retire her, I often advise my puppy parents to have their little girls spay at 7 to 8 months. I had my only Yorkie Prada spayed at 6 months.

Thank you Carmer. I guess the Vet knows what he is doing. BJ was small and to me she still looks thin but then I am remembering Dee Dee who I lost in December and she was 10. It is hard to remember back 10 years. Good Luck.

I just got a call from the vet, Chanel did GREAT during surgery, I can breath a lil easier now.. can't wait for 4:30 to go pick her up..

Chanel is home, we got home about 2 hours ago, she is still groggy and sleepy. she got a pain injection, I have to give her some ice cubes and a bit of wet food about 8 pm. I removed the e collar and put a baby onesie on her. she seems to be more confortable now.
