I had to switch from Sentinel to Trifexis because of the shortage. My vet still had some, but none in the proper dosage for my pups. They just got their second dose yesterday, so far, so good, no problems.

This sentence in the article bothers me: Last week, the company sent a letter to veterinarians alerting them that a prescription medication for dogs that's made at the Lincoln plant might also be contaminated.

Oh that is great! We are also having issues with tick meds for our outside dogs. Seems it is on backorder. And I think the bugs and critters will be worse this year!!! Oh my! Need to call my vet!

I buy Callie's a year at a time and she wont run out until September so I am hoping they start making it again by then.

That stinks! Now I don't know what to do, I gave Sheldon heartguard for the 1st 2 months and wanted to change to interceptor.
My vet has 12 and 6 months packets but I afraid to give it to him now.

Yep, that's what my Vet told me too. I actually just ordered 5 months for Ringo with no problem - but you have to order 1 dosage at a time.

Lucy's I already had.

Hopefully they get it all worked out.
