do you dress for errands LOL not us humans but the furkids:D I have a ton of dresses but I hardly ever put them on Lola for fear of getting laughed at. I plan to do some errands and will be taking her along so I decided to put a dress on her, but LOL I have to say I am nervous about the reactions and that people will think we are dumb. Does anyone else feel that way. For those that do dress up their pups when running around town, what type of reactions do you get? Thanks Donna |
I don't care what others think, but mine don't wear dresses... They wear clothing to keep them warm in the winter. Who cares what others think? If dressing you dog is the worst thing you do... Who cares? lol |

2 Attachment(s) Go for it. Those who mind don't matter anyway. Tessa loves to tag along on errands and she's the only one that matters ;) |

Sophia always wears clothes! Peyton only does if it is cold or raining! :aimeeyork |
ok, she is dressed, just took some photos and am bringing the camera along just in case, LOL do the think the bank will allow photos?? |
Tessa, that is tooo cute in the bag! my girl is almost 10 pounds, no way could I get away with it. Maggie also likes to greet every person she sees, she would not stay in a bag and I don't know if she's stay in a cart. She has only been inside Petsmart and a quick trip in a jewelry store to drop off a repair. I plan to take her out to eat with me at Checkers....A drive thru fast food with outside tables. Maybe I'll dress her up for that, she is a tomboy, but she is also a flirt. |

Oh my gosh! Tessa looks adorable :D I love her dress. Does anyone at the grocery store notice her? I'm too afraid to go into the grocery store with heads out anymore... Anytime we have to shop for groceries and have the pups, they are zipped in their KB :p |
Uni always has a t shirt on or a coat in the winter. She is known for always being dressed, well, shirted I guess, she never wears dresses. For some reason I think yorkies are the only breed of dog that doesn't look ridiculous in clothing. :D |
Personally, I LOVE seeing dogs in clothes when I am out and about. It always makes my day! :) |
Yes, I dress Betty Boop every time we go on errands. No one has ever been rude about it. I'm prepared for them if they are. I don't take people being rude to me. We go to Lowes, Home Depot, PetSmart, and Petco. We don't have any restaurants here that I know of that will allow pets on the outside. We get a lot of attention when we take her places. We meet a lot of friendly folks who come up and say that they also have a Yorkie at home. I admit that at first I was sort of shy about it, but not anymore. |
I wouldn't care what people think either, you have to make yourself happy..Tessa, is just too cute. |
I so love this topic.. Miss Brandy always goes out dressed up.. she's the diva and fashionista here where we live.. almost all the dogs around are boys so when they see her it's like love at first sight.. who ever does not like it who cares.. I think you should go for it.. I wish I had more stuff for Brandy to go out..lol |
I always dress Jada if we are going out...well she is dressed almost every day and so is Bogie. They were t-shirts around the house and Jada wears her nicer dresses if we are out and about. Most comments I get and I am in a small southern town are about how cute they are. I have never had anyone say something negative or make fun...to my face anyways:D |
Princess is almost always dressed. I was leery to do it at first just because I didn't want any extra attention, good or bad. That didn't last long, she's always wearing a coat, dress, shirt, whatever & I've only ever got nice reactions. Princess loves the attention & it helps me talk to people more. Sometimes it's not good tho-the other day we were going down a busy street & a lady beeped at me to tell me she wanted Princess! Lol. Not ideal going 45mph.;) |
