My wife and daughter dress Gypsy for outings and company. Although the outings have been limited (waiting on her shots to finish), she is always dressed to the nines when company is coming over. Everyone so far just gushes on how cute she is... Well until they realize she is teething anyway, lol! |
do you dress for errands Quote:
I thought this was gonna be one of those "Walmart People" threads...lol And I was ready to confess that I've snuck up to my local corner store looking somewhat less than ready for public viewing  Instead...or if you've read the above...as well as.... I'll confess that I feel like a complete crazy dog lady taking ZoE out in a dress. I'm ok with her wearing hoodies & coats when it's chilly out, but the frou-frou stuff...makes me feel a lil rediculous. |
Yes, we do. Ours love it and so does everyone else. A 10 minute trip to Lowe's takes at least an hour. We are a major source of ooooh-ing and awwww-ing and people stop just to show us pix of their fur babies. Dress her up, take her out, and have the greatest time doing it! :D |
The majority of the time Heidi is dressed to the max when we go out unless its hot. Or, if she's in her KB I don't just because it might be uncomfy & people can't see it anyway. She gets lots of smiles & attention dressed up. Most people really seem to enjoy it. They can't hardly peel their eyes off & have to stop and talk to her. The few grumps that have commented I just laugh it off & say, "Oh, its just for fun." If you have a kid to take with you, you don't feel quite as silly either. |
ok, we are back LOL it was a success but it took at least twice as long:D I started out at the bank, I had to go in since I was out of deposit slips. I hear the one teller say to the other one in a low sort of shocked voice, she has her in a dress I was like ok this is gonna be embarrassing, instead when we went up to the teller she made a big fuss over the dress and started getting all the other workers to look, then we took so photos of Lola and the teller:cool:, then it was the local pet store, the teenage boys made a big fuss over and more pictures, then it was off to Payless for shoes and more photos and some of the workers took pictures of her as well:aimeeyork. then it was off to the dollar store, the gal working there has 4.5 pom so more pictures and she also showed me her pom's photos:animal-pa Like most small dogs Lola usually gets attention, but this was a lot more. My town only has the cheap stores, one day we will have to get all dolled up and hit the chi chi ones a few towns over:D:D As soon as I download and resize I will post a few. |
Sugar Baby loves to get dressed ~ and she loves "wardrobe changes" too :D She is fully aware that if the comb and the new outfit come out about the same time that Mommy applies makeup......she is invited :p She hops up onto the couch and into my lap and pokes her lil head through the neck of her outfit then hands me each leg. If there is toothbrushing involved FORGET IT ~ she is BEYOND excited then~ she knows kissing her public may be involved :sidesplt: ! I know....she's weird :tongue4: |

just can't seem to manage the picture sizing, I made an album of some of the cute photos of her on my profile, If you have shopping pictures post them, would love to see them. Well now I will probably dress her more, since everyone was pretty nice. |

IF I dressed Corky, and took him out with me. I would not give a rats butt what people said. Now he does wear a rain coat, or sweater/shirt if it is rain/cool out for walks. |

If its hot I let her go naked but if its cold or simi cold I dress her and normally its a dress if we are going somewhere. I really don't care what people think honestly. Callie loves clothes and if its cold I'm not gonna let my dog freeze because of what other people think. |
