omg, this is tooo funny, and yes my Miss Mini does this too! Miss Mia just lays across my neck for her tummy rubs! thanks for the laugh! |
Haha, y'all have me cracking UP! And when I say puppy tipping..I mean you go to rub her belly, she falls over and onto her back, and her little legs are sticking STRAIGHT up in the air and you can see her eyes rolling into the back of her head, she's in heaven!!! lol! |
And Tibbe is such a little hedonist, when I am rubbing his tummy, his little jaw will begin to slacken and drop open as he relaxes out of pure pleasure. |

lol, Maggie isn't quite as bad but does this when she meets up with a new dog or new person. lol I have a friend who has a yorkie who does this all the time. I tell her that I cannot put her harness or leash on for our walks when she does this. lol |
Yes....now we have a name for it! LOL Yorkie tipping. Too funny. |

This is too funny... Maxie jumps up on the sofa beside me and then up ends, butt in the air, against my side... then flips clear over and waits for the belly rub to start. If it doesn't start, he backs off, digs in, and flips again. Once, I held off rubbing his belly to see how long he would keep it up... well, he can keep it up longer than I can. He did more flips than an Olympic gymnast! |
The visuals in my head, this really makes me smile!! |
All I have to do with Beemer is look at him from across the room and he flops on his back. We call it "peenee rubs". Probably not to politically correct.:D |

It amazes me how disarmed both my boys are when asking for belly rubs. I thought the natural instinct was to protect the underbelly. Both boys throw themselves down, belly up (Willy exposed); legs splayed, waving in anticipation of being rubbed. I do a chant (now I'm exposing just how goofy I am) "Chest; chest; chick-en leg; chick-en leg" as I rub their bellies. Hard to tell who enjoys it more. |
