Yes I am home all day everyday so I definitely have the time to train both. We plan on surprising my daughter with the puppy/puppies but by no means do we plan on her being responsible for them. She is not old enough just yet. We just want her to grow up with a dog because she LOVES my mom and sister's yorkies and so do we. We always spend weeks at a time at my parent's house and when we come back home to no yorkies my daughter and I are both sad! We are SO excited! |
OMGosh!!! You are just gonna have SO MUCH FUN whether you get 1 or 2 Yorkies! What a party when all the Yorkies get together! :happyboun
You know, I probably should add that we didn't plan on getting any more pets, but then there was that 'awful' (wonderful) :p person looking for a "good home" for a "purebred Yorkie" (Brody) and I just couldn't resist after having a Yorkie-Poo many years ago and being smitten by the Yorkshire Terrier personality traits he had. Then, after we puppysat our friend's ex-show-puppy Shih Tzu, the gorgeous Sunny, 3 months later and seeing how forelorn Brody was after she went home after only 4 days together (Brody had had a 95-lb., 1-yr-older 'brother' at his previous home), we realized Brody needed a live-in friend like himself and found Mia was also looking for a new "good home" and brought her to live with us. Now when Sunny comes over, the 3 of them have such a ball together...it's like a children's sleepover or kiddie (puppy) camp...no one sleeps until everybody goes home ! :D
I am not trying to influence your decision...:p |
