				   | Oh my goodness, I'm just seeing this now. I am so sorry he got out, but I am SO happy you found him!! Poor guy was lost and probably searching for you This is why all of my animals (cats included) wear collars that have contact information on them. They also ALL have microchips. It is so important for them to wear collars and it shows that you never know when they will get loose... Please consider putting a collar on Cooper. Just don't walk him on it, and he will be fine.

				   | I am so glad you got your baby back! What a scary thing to go through. I had a similar incident this morning. Henri was in the backyard playing with my parents pug, they had been out there for a while so we go to call them in but they didn't come, the backyard isn't very big and its fenced, so we knew something was wrong. My brother slipped his shoes on and went out there to look, he came back saying that the gate on the side of the house was open! We all ran out front to search for the dogs and thankfuly found them on the side of the fence trying to get back in. When this all happened I thought of this thread and I was so afraid that my baby was gone. I am so happy that your yorkie and mine are safe

				   | So glad you found Cooper!!!!! This is the first post I went to as I wanted to see if you were able to find him. Because of something you said (Cooper didn't wear a collar and had no tags) I went out today and bought Jack a new collar and a dog tag... We never made Jack wear a collar before but seeing how quickly they can get lost, I had to get him one and a tag. So, thank you for posting that. And again, so happy Cooper is back home!

				   | Thank goodness everything ended well!! I also was afraid to use a collar, but because of yt, I started putting one on Ian about a year ago, for ID purposes. We keep it very loose, and only use his harness for walks.

				   | THANK GOD!!!! When I read your first post I was devestated to hear that Cooper was missing. I am SO glad that he is home safe. I can only imagine what you have been through I would be inconsolable if Chloe were missing. Thank goodness he is home due to your efforts. Give him a hug from me!

				   | Thanks for all the nice posts, Cooper is home I got all the little things out of his hair, he didn't even seem to mind and some I had to cut out. I was shocked the amount of people that helped in my community. I out up over 300 flyers was out all night did everything I could think to get him back. I got a guide from Petamberalert.com also signed up for one, didn't need it he was Home before they started, seems coop was so scared he didn't want anyone to help him, I think he knew how good he has it with me,,, minus this incident and me being careless leaving door open, but I'm not perfect. He lived in a cage as a stud dog for two years before I rescued him, he has a pretty great life now. I'm surprised he made it all by himself, I always joke that if I give him a treat that is to big he just lets it sit, hence not doing well put in wild. I'm proud of my little guy and so happy to have him home. I also wanted to mention the guide suggested that if a pet is lost put your dirty clothes around your house, I also read that is you have a very hard rain your dog might night smell it's normal scents because they are washed away, we had a horrible storm the night before. I also wanted to say that Cooper has a chip, he wears a harness with Id on it while on walks inside he never wore it, never saw a need and he is pretty small, but yesterday I went to Hermes got him a new small collar and a tag that he can wear in the house all the time so far he hates it and his hair seems really full of mats but I guess that's better than Mia. Ty again for all the well wishes and prayers |
