:confused: I was browsing at one of my local upscale department stores a couple weekends ago and wandered into the Ralph Lauren Home department. I could not pass up the great bargains and free engraving on any RL Home item. I opted to have four towels engraved with Romeo's initials RBG. The sales lady asked who they were for and I said my son, he's a Yorkie! OMG, the look she gave me said "Lady, you are joking right?"

I am sure you YT parents would have done the same for your furbabies...gotten personalized engraved towels.

I always buy human towels for my furbabies. I just never got them engraved.

Unfortunetly, you are crazy. Don't worry though, I'm crazy too.
I'm just kidding, you aren't crazy. Henri has his own towel, although it is probably no where near as nice as the towels you got you furbaby and it doesn't have his intitials on it. Plus putting the initials on them is cute, if you can then why not? That sales lady can think you are crazy all she wants, but I don't think you are crazy :)
My family thinks that I am crazy because I want to get one of the dog carriers that looks like a purse :D

I use our towels on Bella. They wash up just like they had never been used on a "dog". I used our towels on my Cattle Dog also. I just never thought of getting them engraved. It could be a thought.

Heeeheee, Romeo is one well-taken care of pupster. :)

I wanted to carry a certain brand of brushes in my dog boutique and the manufacturer told me that their brushes are made for humans, not dogs. Clearly they aren't Yorkie people. :p

CRAZY??????? 'ELL NO!!! I have designer towels embroidered with "RHG"....Rose Hill Gang!!!! I buy them on sale too, but when I can pick up any, I do!! WE ARE ALL "CRAZY" ABOUT OUR BABIES!!!!

If you are crazy then so am I:D Jada has her own personalized towel and Bogie and Jada both have hooded bath towels and an entire cabinet in the kitchen full of grooming supplies:p...so I vote you are normal:)

All YT owners are bonkers! I lost my marbles about 3 years ago. Luckily I found a community of crazy people like me :D

Well...you are probably crazy...:) you are facebook friends with me!! Actually I love the idea of the towels...but I would want Copper's whole name on them! :)

I love my little boy dog...I tell him all the time. I have made him harness vests and beds. He has a bed in almost every room. I also made him stairs out of foam blocks covered in yorkie fleece to get up on the couch. When we go on vacation I put him in a front pack to go on a bike ride. I'm even guilty of buying him a McDonald's hamburger (without onion) on a very rare occasion. He gets excited when we go through the drive thru. He only eats the patty.

Copper usually sleeps in an open crate beside my bed. My favorite time of the day is when Charlie (hubby) takes him out in the morning and then I hear Copper running up the stairs to me. He takes a leap up on his crate and then up on the bed where he snuggles under the covers with me for another hour of sleep.

Crazy? Guess you would have to include quite a few of us here on yorkietalk. We belong to a website dedicated to our dogs. Hee hee hee.:D

Nothing wrong with being a little crazy! :D It is what makes life fun! I have embroidered things like towels, dresses, and blankets with my little girl's name. Bought my own embroidery machine to do it too.

Oh my gosh, I am so happy to belong to a community of crazy Yorkie moms like myself!!!!

A bed in every room, about two dozen blankets (never have enough), Romeo's own FB account, his pictures all over the house, a toy chest full of toys he is not interested in playing with, a chest for his clothes and grooming supplies, I save all his bandanas and bows he gets from his stylist...

I love being crazy, crazy in love with my Romeo!

Ok, forgot about all the picture I have around. Framed and on the fridge too. I have more pictures of the dog than I do of my grandkids. LOL
Also his framed pedigree, picture on my phone screen....baskets of toys he never plays with...yup, I've joined the crazies with you!

I think the sales lady was a tad bit rude. In a time when people aren't finding employment as easily, she best be glad she has a job. And she should be thankful for customers who make her job possible. Whoever's initials you decided to put on the towel is so not the point. And if you're crazy, then I am too. I have my babies paws "engraved" on my hip. ;)

I am actually in the process of setting up an online store that is going to be selling them, they are custom handmade beds with the pet's name appliqued on the side. They are made out of fleece, which very durable and comfortable, and easy to wash, plus dogs love it. I made some for a few friends too and their dogs love them. The site will be up soon and I will begin taking orders when it goes up. I am currently picking out patterns to offer and any suggestions would be gladly welcomed.
If you would like, you could be one of the first orders, send me a PM of your pet's name and some of the colors you would like :)

Thanks, Henri thinks so too. When it was finished I set it on the floor, he immediately laid down on it and fell asleep. I guess he knew it was his :)
