There's big news at our house! Lori, (aka: maggiesmom_2007) is entrusting me with her sweet little Patience. OMGosh, I am so excited! I can't eat. I can't sleep. We are just over the moon! I am flying to pick Miss Patience up on Tuesday. She will be such a wonderful addition to our family. In less than a year's time, I will have become a mommy to two little Yorkie fur girls, and fostered (and helped place) 5 others for the rescue. Someone here warned me last spring that Yorkies are like potato chips. You can never have just one! I am just so enchanted with these furry bits of heaven on earth. They do wrap their little paws around your heart! Since Lucy walked into my life, things will never be the same again. Sniff, sniff, I'm so in love! Gee, did I mention I'm so excited?
Peppermint, I'd love to be your new aunt (if you'll allow me).
Counting the hours...
Who'd like to join me for a happy dance?

Oh!! I'm so glad someone finally gave that gorgeous little girl her furever home!!! YAY! And to have Pep as your little niecey..aww :) Congratulations, and we are sooo excited for you!!

OMGosh, I've been so busy shopping and planning, and shopping some more, that I hadn't even thought about her name yet. I think for right now we'll stick with Patience. Thank you everyone for all your good wishes. I can't wait! :rolleyes:

Congratulations! Patience is beautiful and to be Peppermint's auntie - too cute! I guess that makes you Dexter's auntie by default since he's Peppermint's "big brother." Very exciting though! Happy dancing with you....

Kim! you are one lucky mother puppy to be getting Patience!!!! congratulations!!!!!! i said it before and i will way it again, if i could have, i would have taken this little girl in a heart beat! if she is anything like Peppermint, (and i am pretty sure she is!) she is going to bring unmeasuable amounts of joy to your life!!!!

please, please, please keep us updated on her and post pictures whenever you can!!! :)

Kim I am glad you finally let the cat out of the bag. I do want to say that there were alot of inquiries for Patience and I had it down to 3 possible homes. Kim and I just clicked. My Husband also had a say in this decision and we talked about it and both came to the same decision. I am going to miss my cuddle bug but I know she has the best home possible. See ya Tuesday Kim. and go eat something. LOL

Aww, You just made me cry! Time is ticking by so slowly. I keep trying to think of things to do to help pass the time. I swear I'm telling the truth. I was washing the washer (and dryer) yesterday. :eek: I'm getting desperate here! Lori, I can't wait to meet you in person tomorrow. Give that fuzzy little face a kiss for me! Counting the hours!

Kim, i just realized that you are getting Patience the day before her birthday!! give her extra birthday kisses from us! and also give kissed to Friday from us when you see her too! Friday is one of my most favourite dogs in the world! and give kisses to Lori from us too :p they always say you buy your breeder along with your dog, and i must say, you are getting the best deal around for this breeder/ pup package! ;)

I am so excited for you!

Thanks Alana! Yes, I know that Wednesday is the girl's birthday. Patience gets to go to the Florida Keys for her birthday. She's working on her frequent flyer miles. :D I'm so happy that hubby took off for the week so that we can have some bonding and snuggling time together with her. I agree with you about Lori. I really like her. We've talked on the phone for hours. You can tell she really loves her fur kids. Thank you for the nice post. I'll be sure to take lots of pictures. Oh, and I'll take along your kisses. :)
